She just couldn't stay away from the Lake, but this time when she visited the crystal water, she wore the amulet that she had found in the water around her slender neck. She pulled off her shirt, then her shorts, and at last her doe skin boots. She wore nought but her breastband and loincloth, other then the amulet, and that was all she needed when swimming.
She dove in, her arms pointed like an arrow around her head so she could catch more speed. She quickly reached the bottom of the lake, and kicked off so she could get to the top and suck air into her starving lungs.

Alessio watched Calypso as she dived into the water, breaking its crystalline surface into small waves that lapped at the edges of the lake.
Alessio sat down in the sand and watched as her head came back into vision every now and again when she needed to breathe. He hadn't said much as they were coming to the lake. It was just a brief moment of peace that Khalora was happy to enjoy. The pirates were adequately defended, his armies were ready for war, he just wanted to be free today, just as Calypso did... although Alessio suspected that she may just be after more jewels.
He laughed a little and watched as Calypso re-surfaced again. It had been a while, she must have gone right to the bottom, and from where he was sitting, the water was so clear he could almost see right down into the depths...

"Hey." She said, popping up almost right beside him, had he been a little closer to the water. "I just don't believe it! The King! Away from his royal throne!" She teased Alessio, holding one of her dainty hands to her chest in mock shock. She laughed, the sound of tinkling bells in the air, as she back flipped into the water again.
Her light eyes twinkled with mischeif as she swam in circles for a bit, surfaced for air, and then dove again to mingle with the little colorful fish that she so loved and adored.

Alessio couldn't help but laugh at her mocking. It was true that most of the time that she saw him he was never near his throne. But he figured that Calypso had gotten used to it by now.
Alessio stood up as Calypso backflipped into the water. He had never been that flexible at all in his entire lifetime, and she did things like that so fluently, it made him wonder.
He walked over some rock pools nearby, and looking down he could see the crabs scuttling away from his boots, and the tiny fish swimming in the little pools. It was refreshing to see them out here in the open... it meant that peace was still here.
He looked out to the lake, Calypso hadn't surfaced yet...

She was glad she could make the king laugh, glad that he still could laugh. Not many monarchs kept laughter along with them for the ride. She popped up again, this time treading water so she could relax for a moment or two. "So, how's things in the 'city'. I don't know how you stand it." She rolled her eyes in exaggeration.

Alessio looked at her head bobbing up and down in the water as she spoke. She was quite the sarcastic one...
"They are well, its why I'm here." Alessio walked a little way back along the rock pools. "I stand it by knowing that I'm doing something right for others... that I'm saving others." He smiled, he didn't really want to talk about Sanara for the moment. "So how about you? Have you found what you were looking for?" He laughed a little as he glanced at the emerald bobbing around her neck.

"Peace and Quiet? Not with you around." She smirked, laughter in her eyes. "Oh you mean this?" She asked, fondling the emerald that pooled around her neck. "I don't do jewlery that much, I like the bare minimum." She told him, arching an eyebrow in her know it all expression.

Alessio shrugged, conceeding to the fact that all in all, he didn't really know the inner workings of Calypso, very few besides her brother did.
"I wouldn't class a jewel that size as the bare minimum," Alessio smiled calmly. He looked at his broadsword on the sand where he'd left it. It had a few emerald in it... but none as large as Calypso's.
Alessio thought about going for a swim, the water looked beautiful, and extremely refreshing, but he wasn't sure whether he willed himself to get wet just yet...

"Oh come on, I meant I don't like wearing more then one item." She said, attempting to cover lost ground in her struggle to remain on top of the conversation. "Thinking about coming in, my lord?" She teased, though she knew that most would take her teasing to heart, she always kept a record in her mind about how far to push others. Except her brother, she pushed him just as far as she wanted.

Alessio smiled and seriosuly considered going in. Achilles snorted and stamped his foot into the sand, walking up to Alessio. He patted the warhorse on his brow, "You keep watch alright." Of course the horse didn't respond, but he knew that Achilles wouldn't let a threat nearby.
Alessio was always mindful of attacks, even here.
He unclipped his armour and cloak, putting it on Achilles, and waded into the water. It was cool and refreshing, just as he had imagined it to be. It had been so long since Alessio had swum in this lake, since he was appointed king so many years ago, he just hadn't had the time. But he had been a powerful swimmer in his time, perhaps that would still remain with him...

"I'm shocked, how long has it been since you relaxed?" She asked seriously, disbelief mirrored in her eyes. She was genuinley shocked. She had expected him to laugh it off, and turn down coming into the lake. She didn't know how long it had been since him coming into water, but it probably been a long time.

Alessio dipped his head under the water and reveled in the cool feelingon his cheeks. How he'd missed this.
"Too long Calypso, too long." He smiled her shocked expression. "Its good to relax here, and you looked like you were having fun, so why shouldn't I enjoy it." He paused. "And its good that I can still surprise people, even someone who's known me as long as you..."

"Uh!" She shrieked, and moved her arms in a way to make a wave directed towards her lord, and friend. "I was not surprised! All that much..." She muttered the last sentence, a pretty blush settling on her amazing features.

"Hmm... of course you weren't," sighed Alessio sarcastically with a laugh. He took a deep breath in and dived beneath the waves. It was well beyond clear enough for him to see for ages beneath the water. He swam hard for as long as his breath would permit it out into the center of the lake. He resurfaced and gasped for air, releshing in the sunlight.
He looked back towards where he had come from and smiled, it was quite an impressive distance, and he was happy to see that he still had it in him. His hair was wet on his face, and his clothes soaked... today had been a good day for him...

"Show off!" She called to him, laughing. She closed her eyes and moved to float on her back, exposing her stomache to the sun so that she would look weird by having only a tan head and a white body.
