((Really, I thought Calypso and the crew were in the room, and he was upstairs rooting through Ice's personal belongings?))
Calypso lowered her lids and looked through her lashes at Ice seductively. She dreaded the cold, and knew that he knew that. She was prepared to do anything to keep herself alive. She knew that she owed her King at least to keep herself from being killed. She stopped her emotions from showing in her eyes like they so often did, and she also managed to stop herself from swallowing the lump in her throat.
She managed to keep her eyes on Ice, no matter how much she wanted to look away. It wasn't that he repulsed her, but the fact that what he did, that he loved the cold, it was almost to much to bear. In her heart she felt that his heart was made of ice, just like his name. She hated him, hated him with a passion that was enough to make a person keel over. But she hadn't followed his order, she still had several little knives on her person, as she always did. One was even strapped to the inside of her thigh, another right below her left breast, just incase someone suspected anything, she hoped they wouldn't go so far as to touch her there, so that she could keep her weapons. And the knowledge of having her blades were reassuring, though she wanted nothing more then to drive one through his cold, dead heart.

Chase looked through all of the notes in Ice's study. There were so many. Horus squawked a little on a table nearby, but Chase didn't have time to look at her. There was definant evidence that Ice and the fallen angels had alligned at some point in time, but he couldn't tell if they still were. There were parchments of troop notifications and movements, and some forces had merged so that both forces were present in each army, but they were outdated. There was also some notices proposing that the same should be done with the capitals, having troops of both alleigances stationed there. But it obviously hadn't gone through as there were no fallen angels around the city, and they were very outdated as well. Chase swore to himself. Obviously Ice didn't leave things lying around.
Chase found even more parchments, which were only about the war in general. They outlined some ideas to attack Danarta, but nothing more than ideas, which puzzled him at first, believeing that even Ice wasn't foolish enough to think that he could maneouver a force large enough to assault Sanara without being noticed by the pirate fleets, or worse, the Lilan heavy navy.
Chase shuddered at the thought of facing one of their bohemoth battleships on the open sea. Horus squawked again at Chase, and now he looked at Horus, she was perched on a little armchair beside the door where he came in, focused intently on the stairs. Chase frowned a little and crept up to the door. He couldn't see or hear anything. But he was immediately suspicious. He crept down the spiral staircase until he could hear voices, and it didn't sound like Calypso's.
Wait... that was Calypso... but who else was talking to her. He listened for a moment, and instantly knew who it was. Chase swore at himself, knowing that she had been caught. He crept up to the door and it was only slightly ajar. He peered through and saw that Ice and some of his guards had the others surrounded. He pulled back, knowing that he didn't stand a chance if he tried to attack them. Even if he did shoot Ice, the guards would kill them all, and he couldn't allow that. He needed a plan...
Chase looked up at the torch burning above him, the flame flickered strongly and brightly, an idea forming in his mind. He looked back and saw that the entire room Ice was in was full of tapestries and books... all flammable.
He pulled out one of his bolts and lit the wood at the tip, it flickered a little, but it alone would not be enough. He tore off two small pieces of his cloak and wrapped them into balls. Chase lit both of them and crept back up to the door. As Ice was speaking he threw one of the balls at the tapestry right above Ice's head, and another towards the other side of the room. They caught alight easily and fire erupted in the room. Chase picked up his bolt again, where the end was starting to char, and he fitted it into his crossbow, aiming straight at Ice. He had a chance to kill this ruler, and he was going to take it...

Rhaxma was one of the warriors standing against the female spy that had invaded The Mother of Pearl Courtyard. Rhaxma was concentrated on the woman before her, noticing how she would flaunt herself and act innocent, but with a face like that, no one could be so easily fooled. And, to those who would, Rhaxma thought did not deserve to be in this army. Rhaxma stood with the rest of the warriors, her eyes not leaving the spy. Ice was bold and was not so easily deceived, much to Rhaxma's relief. However, she should not think any less of him. Her eyes scanned across the rest of the crew, as she noticed them being pirates, but the woman was not a Pirate. She thought longer, but her question as to who the woman was was answered when Ice said 'Southerner'.
She felt her grip tighten around her mace and she gritted her teeth in anger. She wanted to immediately lunge towards the woman, killing her in an instant. She refrained, however, knowing that it would not be her place to do so. She seemed to be trying to pull Ice in farther into her 'charm', which Rhaxma did not see existent. She was disgracing women, in Rhaxma's opinion, by acting the way she did. Rhaxma would never call her her equal, even if she was an Ice Warrior. She wondered what her fighting style was, and a quick flash came from her inner thigh. She narrowed her eyes, thinking that it has to be a knife, however, her advantage of knowing what weapons she used would not help Rhaxma as something else caught her attention.
She saw a flame suddenly out of the corner of her eye. She turned to look at it, and suddenly, the tapestry above Ice caught fire and soon, just a few feet away from her, a new flame emerged. She quickly backed away and her head snapped in the direction of where the fire ball had come from. She noticed a man standing behind Ice, his crossbow ready. She narrowed her eyes and, with her mace in her hand, she ran towards the man behind her leader. She quickly stopped a few feet away from him. Her eyes and face held concentration. She was going to say something, but would rather not take the risk, and unsheathing her claymore, she threw it in the direction of the man with the crossbow.

Ice hardly battered an eyelid as the tapestry above him caught alight. He stepped forward as it came crashing down behind him. Fires never lasted long here. Samara was fast to act though. As soon as chaos began to erupt, she lunged at the Southerner, not intending to kill her, rather simply pin her to the ground. Ice walked towards the pirates and Southerners with his scythe held ready. Not many had remained to fight, which may have been smarted, considering the amount of Ice Guards in the room, but Ice knew they would be caught at some point. The city was large, but a foreigner was easily noticed. "Rhaxma, take the archer!" He commanded. Ice walked up to the Southerner spy and held his scythe blade at her throat.

The Southerners grabbed their swords and started to fight some of the Ice warriors in the confusion, but there was only about ten of them, and there were hundreds of soldiers in this city.
The fires spread astonishingly quickly, as there were so many flammable things in this room. But the fire would not last forever, as it was only stone after that.
Chase saw an female Ice warrior coming towards him with a massive mace, but then she pulled out a claymore and threw it at him. Chase ducked as the claymore bounced off the stone wall behind him. Chase whirled his crossbow around and fire at Rhaxma, but the shot went wide and instead slammed through the helmet of an Ice warrior about to stab a Southerner. His body crumpled to the ground, very dead.
Chase picked up the warrior's claymore and was about to throw it back at her when he had a better idea. Instead, he hurled it out one of the windows of the tower. He didn't care if it would survive the fall, but he knew the warrior couldn't use it now. He drew his longsword and swore at himself. This was not a position he wanted to be in.
As the warrior advanced on him, Horus flew straight at her face, trained to attack her face and eyes, and then Chase lunged at her...

Ice stood, eyes trained on Calypso as the fires burnt all around him. He hated the heat and he could feel the flames all around him, though they were not burning him. Ice was positioned in the center of the room, now that he was over Calypso. The fire would need to jump a fair distance to reach them here. Ice held his sycthe against the Southerner next. No matter what happened, he wouldn't let her escape. Samara growled, her teeth only inches away from the spy's face.

Chase could see the situation was rapidly declining, and he knew that he had to get himself and Calypso out of there, but he just couldn't see a way to do it... No, wait... he had an idea... But he had to do it quick...
Chase started parrying off the one named 'Rhaxma'. He tried to push her away, and found that he was stronger than her. He shoved her back into the centre of the room, right towards Ice. As he did so he quickly whipped up his crossbow and tried to pull back the sinew faster than he ever had before... It snapped into position in record time...

Ice could see Pirate archer aiming at him. Luckily, there were two creatures, and Ice was determined not to let Calypso escape. He wouldn't let anybody take her, there was no way he would allow it and it didn't seem possible anyway. Guards were all around, having killed the pirates and Southerners that had been foolish enough to stay and Rhaxma was now behind the archer. He had walked into a trap, and Ice smiled. Guards were now on one side and fire on his other, Rhaxma to the back and Ice to the front. Samara was over Calypso still, snarling and growling. Baring her teeth in a sign of unabashed aggression. Ice noticed the stubborn Pirate pulling his string back. Ice did the only thing he could. He pulled the Southerner's sword out of its sheath and threw it. Ice didn't know if it would hit the Pirate for sure, but it would doubtless buy him enough time for the Guards and Rhaxma to close in.

Rhaxma had allowed the pirate to push her towards Ice, back in the center of the room. She wouldn't attack him back, not quite yet. A small, light trickle of blood rolled down her cheek from the attack from Horus. She left the cut alone and watched Ice briefly, before she held her mace with a tighter grip and was ready to lunge at the spy, who was preparing his bow, but Ice had gotten there first, as he threw a sword in the direction of the pirate. She moved forward, closing in on him, as other Ice Warriors followed her and circled around the pirate. She watched him carefully, prepared for whatever move he chose to make next.

Chase noticed that he was being closed in upon, and he knew he had to get out of here, now.
"I will be back for you Calypso." Chase called to her quickly. "I will not leave without you."
Chase then turned on his heel and bolted back up the stairs as fast as he could. The Ice warriors were all wearing armour, so he already had a speed advantage over them, but he doubted that many would be too much faster than him. Chase took the steps about four at a time, making his way as fast as he could towards the room that he had first entered from.
He only saw one way out of this tower, and that was by the way he had come in. As he sidetepped the staircase and shoulder slammed the door open, the Ice warriors were close on his heels. They were faster than he had given them credit for... but none of them had brought any long-range weapons with them. Not like they would have needed them, if Chase was in their situation he wouldn't have brought one either. Chase quickly loaded a bolt with the rope tied to it into his bow. He jumped up onto the sill of the window and leapt out, Horus speeding her way past him faster than he had ever thought possible.
If Chase had ever wondered what flying would be like, it was answered for him in that moment. He must have been jumping over a drop of about 500 feet, but there was a tower in front of him, and he fired his crossbow down at it. The bolt snapped through a window plane and embedded itself on something on the other side. He swung down and around the tower. This was madness!
He looked down and saw that the inner wall was closer than he thought, so he let go of the rope and landed deftly on the stone wall. Two guards were walking towards him, but he took no notice of them. He had to get back to the mountains. Chase jumped off the edge and landed on a roof. The buildings were all very compact here, so he could just run along the tops. As he did he reloaded his crossbow and tied his last rope to one of the bolts. As he neared the mountain side, he fired his bow up at the highest point he figured he could reach. Then he started to climb...
Only when he was high above the houses of the city did Chase let out a heavy built up breath. And it was at that moment that he knew he had to honour his newly made alliance. He would have to save Calypso before he left this island...

ooc: There are no mountains 50 feet away from the Tower. The Tower is in the centre of the city! I think that post needs modifying.
Ice didn't bother chasing the Pirate. He was in Ice Warrior territory now and there were eyes everywhere.
Instead, Ice commanded Samara to get off the Southerner Spy.
"Well, well, well." Ice said, forcefully picking her up. "What to do with you?"
Ice smiled evily.
"I think the cold cells are in order."

ooc: I changed it a bit. Its more unrealistic, but it has the same outcome... ;D
Chase climbed up to one of the peaks and took a breather at the top. He had just gone well past his fitness level, he needed the break. He lied down on a rock and took aim at one of the walls, hoping to hit one of the guards so far down there. It accomplished nothing, but it helped to ease his failure. It took him a long time to bead even one down, so by the time he had only killed two, he was ready to leave...
He hiked back down to the camp where the majority of the Southerner troops still were, and they were still there, unnoticed and unharmed...

Ice stood guard personally outside the frozen room the Southerner spy was held prisoner in.
He smiled, by now her breath would be misting and the condensation along her nose would be frozen. Her fingers and toes would have lost feeling by now, surely. The cold cells were harsh treatment, but they always gave Ice the answers he wanted.
A guard walked up to Ice.
"Sir, some officers have been found dead in the Courtyard."
Damn that Pirate. Ice thought irritabely. "I want every guard avaliable stationed around this tower. No one gets in, understood? If any guard lets anyone in tell them I will have their fingers. Go!" Ice sighed. With the tower now crawling with alert guards how could the Pirate get in without being noticed? Ice prided himself on the fact that there were no 'secret passageways' in his tower and all of the entrances were guarded now. Ice smiled. He's in Ice Territory now. I'm calling the shots. Ice closed his eyes and waited for the Southerner spy to cry out what he wanted to hear.
ooc: I really think we should wait for Calypso now.

Rhaxma watched the spy run off, though she did not chase him. She, instead, ignored him, knowing that he made a mistake by running. She turned on her heels and looked at Ice, who was leaving with the female spy. She narrowed her eyes when she felt something rub against her leg. It was Soyala. Smiling slightly, Rhaxma picked her up and held her like a baby. "Soyala, looks like this will be your first real fight. You have to protect the Ice Nation. Understood?" She hadn't gotten any answer back, of course, except a blink from her black, beady eyes. She rubbed her head and put the feisty bear back on the ground, as she quickly scurried ahead, but waited for Rhaxma to follow. She had been ordered to keep watch of the tower, and that was exactly what she was going to do. She went outside, and stood at the door she had just exited from. Keeping a close eye on every movement she saw. Soyala stood next to her, watching with excitement as well.

((Thanks, I'm moving so everything is chaos right now.))
She sat stubbornly in a corner, hating herself for being slow in the cold. She knew what she would've had they been in the South. An idea perked in her mind. She attempted to stand up, found that she couldn't feel her feet, so she bent over and breathed on them, for a while. After a bit she could wiggle them again, so she stood and walked to the door where there was a window, though it was barred.
"Do you really think I'll crack?" She asked him, her eyebrow was arched, though he probably wouldn't, or couldn't, see it. She knew for a fact that she wouldn't crack. Once, someone had put a knife to her throat, cut in so deep she bled, and told her to spill all. She'd denied them, and when questioned why, she had said they couldn't get the information from her if she was dead, so she had nothing to worry about.
