Geddo VS. Kenric

[Jarad]

Geddo enters the arena waiting for his opponent to enter.

[kenric]

Kenric found himself in an arena with many viewers. His long strides carried his body throught the entrance, light armor glittered in the increasing temperature. He had heard his name being spoken by a challenger. The voice echoed through out the small pit they stood in. His feet stopped midway. He saw his opponent at the opposite end.

They were in well weather conditions, but the sun slowly crept out from behind the few clouds, beating against their backs with powerful rays. He hoped he would not sweat too much (haha, ew) , but knew he would end up burning up in the armor.

He wore simple combat pants with plated armor over his shirt. Spaulders lay across his shoulders to protect his shoulder blade. He wore skin gloves, giving him grip on his halberd.

He waited paitently in the bright rays, his shadow casting down upon the dirt ground.

"ey, so you be Kenric." geddo said. he laughed at the boy. So young. This will be an amusing fight. He unsheathed his saber and moved forward quickly. The pirates outift gave a large amount of freedom for him to attack. He thrusted his blade forward aiming for the arm that held the Halberd.

[kenric]

The unsheathing of Geddo's sword was audible through out the crowd. Kenric restrained himself from attacking too soon. He defended himself from the sudden attack by crossing his halberd's blade to meet Geddo's sword. "You are warming up, right?" Kenric loved encouraging his opponents by taunting them. He knew this was only the start to a long tournament. He was apprehensive about the age difference between them. He may, however, have an advantage for moving quicker. But he knew not to judge a book it's cover...

He slid his halberd away from Geddo's weapon and spun around to get more force with his own. The blade was directed towards Geddo's collar bone. The giant weapon pelted through the increasingly hot air.

[Jarad]

"Yup just warming up, you?" Geddo said as he used the force from the sliding of the weapons to spin around and made the two blades clash again. He jumped back and analized how Kenric moved. He watched as kenric made the next move.

[kenric]

kenric smiled. "Same here," He spoke though a grunt as he carefully manauvered his weapon around his head and straight down to land atop Geddo's shoulder. He knew geddo would defend this attack, for it was simple, but his movement was fast, a blur to the viewers.

The sun had fully broke out of the grabbing clouds. The clouds parted away from the sun, almost like the star was challenging them too. It's rays almost seemd like it was admonishing them, showing them how hot it truly can be.

[Jarad]

"Ah, well time to get serious First strike! Lighting wave!" Geddo said as he took a step to teh side, avoiding the blow. Since, a halberd takes more strenght to lift then to move from a block to a slash, geddo took the chance and Thrusted forward so quickly that even if Kenric blocked the attack, he would be hit by a blast of wind. If Kenric was smart enough to use the falling weapon to his advantage, then Kenric could dodge and then counter. Geddo was powerful but an attack like this left a weakpoint in his back.

Kenric knew an attack would follow aft6er his. He feigned a drop, landing on the dirt ground that lay beneath their feet. Geddo wouldn't expect a drop, hopefully and he rolled to the left of Geddo to avoid a strike at the ground.

Kenric's halberd arm was up and over his head from falling. He swung his weapon over his side after he rolled with it above his head. Kenric twisted his feet around Geddo's to cause him to look down instead of at him. Still on the ground, he slid his halberd towards Geddo, like the hands on a clock. With his feet attempting to wrap around Geddo's, his weapon slid easily across the dirt towards his ankles.

Everything went in slow motion through Kenric's eyes. The heat made everything worse, making sweat drip down his forehead and into his eyes.

[Jarad]

"Shoot," Geddo felt what Kenric was about to do. Unexpected. He had expected Kenric to use the halberd as a clocklike lever, use it to spin around Geddo and nail him in the back. That would have been less painful. As Kenric's legs wraped around his own, Geddo tripped and the halberd that was sliding on the ground slammed into his should at the exact same moment that his shoulder hit the dirt.

He got up, the pain in his shoulder was very painful. But he would live. "Ha, your prity smart for a youngen." Geddo said a little dazed from the blow. The crowd cheered at Kenrics attack. "Ha, well prepair for this." Geddo tosses his blade into the air and grabbed the blade. He thrusted into the air and struk the ground as he charged, He pelted a large amount of rocks towards Kenric. Geddo was panting heavily. "Rock wave!" Geddo was breathing very heavily. Two Full out attacks in a row would leave a tole on any man.

[Ice]

ooc: Guys this isn't Pokemon Fight like normal people. No 'super-awesome-lightning-mystical-attack-of-doom's.

((We aren't we are not making lighting out of thin air. I am just using friction and physics. If one was able to Strickthe ground with a certain strenght and speed it would send rocks flying, though the spinning should be taken out
Ok, I edited my last post. After reading it a few times, i found that the parts that are now gone, where humanly impossible. ^_^
ya, this is why Geddo gets very tired after a fight. ^_^))

Kenric, still laying in a tight position on the ground, lifting his hand in the air to shield his eyes from the dust. Geddo's sword was inches from his face. His breath fogged up the steel blade, concieling his reflection. He rolled again, heading in the opposite direction from where Geddo's sword stood. He jumped up, running behind Geddo to get a good attack at the lower-back. As he ran, dust stuck to his eyes like glue. Blinking the dust out, his blurred vision ruined his perfect time to attack. Instead, he swung his helberd at Geddo's back leg.

Eyes broke out with streaming tears, he blinked them away, hoping the dust would have come out by then. He closed his eyes, forgetting his weapon swung onward, mindless.

[Jarad]

Geddo ducked down and dodged the attack. He noticed the tears in Kenric's eyes. "O, am i to tough for you?" He said as he thrusted his sword at Kenric's arm that held the halberd.

He then lost his footing and tripped on the small hole his sword made, his body went forwards towards Kenric.

[kenric]

Kenric chuckled as Geddo fell, butt first, onto the hard ground. "Haha, well, if that hurt your buttocks, then you are not tough enough." He stepped forward, lifting his weapon to shadow Geddo's face.

The dust had now been "teared" out from his eyes. He lightly swung the halberd towards Geddo's shoulder's. He could have made geddo surrender if he brought his weapon ti his neck, but Kenric decided for a slow attack at the shoulder.

[Jarad]

"Ha, all to my plan!" Geddo said as he spun around on the ground mimicing what Kenric had done to him earlier, except Geddo had slashed at Kenric's feet.

After Geddo tried to trip Kenric the crowd Oo'ed and ahh'ed. "Boy, never let your gaurd down when fighitng a pirate. They know every dirty trick in the book." He said witha grin.
