Marcus walked around the forest his bow in hand, he pulled an arrow out of his quiver and aimed it at a tree about fifty yards away. He pulled back the drawstring lineing up his shot, he held his breathe and let go of the drawstring watching the arrow fly silently threw the air hitting the tree directly in the middle. He grinned walking up to the tree and admiring his marksmenship. He sat down leaning his back against the tree, and pulling a flask from his clothing took a sip of the cool water that he kept in it.

Cailen watched the angel shoot the targets directly in the center. She herself did not have a bow, and she admired a good marksmen, especially if he was an angel. She walked up to him, and sat down.
"That was some pretty good shooting." She said, a slight tone of admiration infused in her voice. She never really admired people, but he was good.

Marcus looked up as he heard someone comment him and instantly got up to his feet and bowed as he saw Cailen sit down. "Why thank you Cailen...but im sure you could do just as good if not better, it was an easy shot." he said before sitting down. He had only seen her a few times and never up close so he felt slightly honored that she had chosen to come and talk to him. He took another sip from his flask before slipping into the folds of his clothes, "So what brings you although way out here Cailen, i chose this spot because he seemed very sucluded....not that i am not glad you are here, i've been out of civilized land for some time practicing for when i returned and its good to finally see a familiar face.

She smiled at him, amused by his surprize. "No, I'm not that good with the bow. I prefer up close and personal. I like to see the look on my enemy's face when I beat them." Subconciously, her hand felt the basket handle of her sword, and she paused for a second, taking in the beauty of the snow around them. "I was tierd of the buildings, so I was just walking around. I usually go deep into the woods, were there is never anyone, but I decided to come here today. I'm glad I did, too. It's not everyday I get to see an archer with aim that good." She sighed and rested her back against the tree.
"It's so boring around here lately. Now that we are at peace with the Ice Warriors, there is nothing for us to do. I love peace and all, but I get very restless, and my feet yearn for travel, and now I don't have an excuse to go anywhere anymore." All she had to do latley was sit in the village, and the spirits know how dull that can be...

Kevin's journey through the Ice Forest among its hidden trails had now gotten him lost. Every tree looked the same, and there were no defining land marks to reassure him he was not traveling in circles.
He scanned the area around him once more. I'm sure I've been here already... that rock looks awfully familiar...
Kevin shivered against the light, cool breeze and sighed with impatience. His breath could be seen before his face. He stopped suddenly as two voices came to his ears. He started foreword once more, altering his course slightly so as to reach the source of the voices.
He came upon to other angels: a man and a woman. Holding a hand up, he said, "Greetings. I fear I've gotten myself lost in the wood. I'm searching for the angel's capital of Youla. Could either of you point me in the right direction?"

Cailen stood up, slightly startled by the newcomer. She had never seen him before. "Youla is beyond these trees, to the East of here." She studdied him intently for a minute, then began again.
"I don't believe I've seen you before. Are you just arriving to this forest?" She was curious about this sudden explosion in the poulation of her people. There was a lot of new angels to meet, and possibly recruit for her Elites.

Marcus smiled at Cailens comment, "its not that hard to shot a bow maybe i can teach you some time." he said with a smile as he sighed looking around the area. "Ya from what i've heard it has been a bit quite since we had the peace treaty with Ice and his soldiers." When he heard a new voice his muscle tightened as he reached for his sword, a bow would be useless at this range. When he saw it was a lost angel he relaxed looking at him, he supposed that he was a new angel seeing as most of the race was quite familier with the landscape and wouldnt need to ask for directions to Youla. He put on a neutral face and expected his bow for any problems not wanting to interupt the twos conversation.

"Thank you," Kevin breathed a sigh of relief. Absent-mindedly, he scratched the back of his head after Cailen's question, "Yes, actually. I'm new to these woods. I haven’t lived among my fellow angels since I came here."
He eyed the other angel slightly. Kevin noticed the man's guard, but tried to ignore it. There was no need to explain himself. It would be a mere waste of breath. The other angel will realize eventually that Kevin means no angle any harm.
He focused his attention back upon the first angel, "The name's Kevin - Kevin Sage, by the way," He finished after a brief silence.

OOC: Sorry about the short post... I have no muse today... Cailen nodded her head. "I'm Cailen, the Empress of these lands." She paused a minute before she continued, taking in a deep breath of the crisp winter air. "Did you have a reason for going to Youla? Or just accuainting youself with your new lands?" She did not mean to pry, but with the ever growing population, she found it difficult to keep tabs on her subjects. She tried to whenever she could though.

Kevin was rather shocked and gave Cailen a short bow when she introduced herself..
"My lady Empress, I sought Youla to request a meeting with you," he laughed slightly. "I have lived in Teer since my exile. Since -" he cut his next statement short, and followed with, "I no longer have any reason to remain in Teer. I wish to join the ranks of my fellow Fallen Angels."
Kevin felt his eyes wonder to the other angel, and then back to Cailen. He watched for her reaction, and listened for her reply. [[[ooc: i guess I'll let Marcus jumped in if he ever comes back ^^ I was just tired of waiting to reply to Cailen ]]

OOC: Thats fine, sorry mine is late. School just started and Ive been busy
Cailen nodded, "Well then, Kevin Sage, we would be glad to have you. Do you have apreferance in your line of duty?" The army was ever expanding, and talented angels filled each section wonderfully. This angel seemed like he would be a valuable asset to their forces, and that was very, very good. Soon her army would be big, and she and the Ice warriors could rid the realm of Pirates andf Southerners.
Just the thought of a battle sent a tingle down her spine. She wanted to meet Maccenna again in combat, but this time, she wanted her to be umong her fellows, so they could all see her defeat. There was something about that impudent girl that just bugged the heck out of her.

"Thank you," Kevin nodded his head. "A preference? For the most part, just place me where I am needed, as long as I can be useful." he paused for a moment.
"I'm skilled with a bow and arrow, like many of the other White Wings. I will do my best to be a great asset to the Angel's forces. I have heard certain rumors of late, and I fear the Angel's forces will be needed soon enough," Kevin stated, confident that Calien had probably already heard the rumors of the stone and a looming war, though he himself did not know very much of it. Cailen nodded her head. "You are very right. I have just reiceieved word that Ice is leaving with his fleet to search for the item in question. Their may or may not be need for an army, but either way I offered to go with him. Seeing as the angels have no ship, the majority of us will be traveling on the White Warrior, in probably a week's time. You can join the ranks of my archers. We are always in need of them. However, there may be some close combat. Have you a sword? Or any kind of melee training?" Inside, she was extatic, but she only showed cool composure to the world. She had finally heard word about Ice's quest, and she was very excited to help him in battle. She was not quite sure about what the gem did, but it was obviously important. And she would soon find out what it did, and how she and her angels could use a portion of its powers, if it had any...

Kevin thought for a moment. He had little experience in close combat, but he was confident he could manage. "I own no such weapon. I hold only my bow and my spear. Should the time for close-combat arise, my spear will be my weapon," Kevin replied.
Strategy, combined with his agility and will would be his main weapon. He smiled inwardly. Battle was near, as was victory and triumph.

Cailen nodded again, approving of his confidence. He would do well in her ranks.
"Very well, your spear will do. You will most likely be stationed in an archer's point though, seeing as that is what you say you are better at." She said, her voise direct. She paused for a few seconds, drinking in the crisp air, filling her lungs with the morning freshness. It was exteamly peaceful out, save the occassional call of a bird of some sort, or the cry of a distant wild cat. She was soaking up as much of the forest as she could, storing it in her very sole. The sea was beautiful, yes, but it did not compare to the raw elegance of the Ice Forest. She would miss it while on her voyage with her angels and te Ice Warriors.
