Poker raised his eyebrow as the rope came sliding down to Chase's feet. When he shot it up to the window, it was Poker's turn to find holes in the plan.
"Chase," he said absently while his friend busied himself with firing the rope up. "You really think an arrow is going to support our weight?"
Poker shook his head and turned around to his dog, sitting happily, looking no different to as if this was a Tritern park.
"You have to stay here." Poker said with a more serious tone than he used with most humans. Archer was his closest friend after all. "You have to guard this rope." Poker said, inclining his hand towards the rope. It might have seemed odd that Poker was talking to a dog, but sometimes he thought he had the intellectual capacity of any other human.

Chase thought about Poker's comment when he was hanging a few feet above the wall, only supported by the arrow. "They supported my weight pretty easily in Elina. And back then I was swinging off the damn things faster than I would have liked."
He continued climbing up the rope, hand over hand, keeping his bottom foot always in a loop of rope to support himself. Horus flew on ahead, relishing the ability to fly while thhe grounded humans played at flying.
"Try and keep your body as close to the stone as possible, and it will help us to remain hidden against the sillouhette."

Poker, despite Chase's trust in his arrows, decided to wait until he had climbed to the top before embarking upon the climb himself. Poker didn't know about anything Chase had done at Elïna, but he assumed it was something along these lines, just in a far colder temprament. Poker liked the cold, but Svëna was far beyond cold.
With one last look, and an affectionate ruffle of the head, Poker left Archer sitting silent upon the cold stone, looking around, alert for any human prescence besides that of his master.
Poker grabbed the rope firmly in his hands and began pulling himself up the rope, following Chase's instructions of keeping his body close to the wall. He did not make the climb as quickly, or as skillfully as Chase. But in the end he crouched upon the balcony of the Supreme Lord's tower next to Chase. Waiting for the next move to be plotted.

Chase waited for quite a deal longer than he had expected he would have to, and by the time Poker had pulled himself through the window, Chase had already had to pull two naval guards through the door and break their necks. Both of their bodies were slumped against the wall in the darkest corner.
"There you are," Horus was sitting on Chase's shoulder, eyeing the door intently and silently. "The royal chamber is up here," he indicated to the stairwell outside of the door. "If we're caught now then believe me, we won't be seeing Tritern again."
He sidled out to the door and looked up and down the stairs. "Best draw your swords, there will no doubt be guards up here, and the finest that the navy can offer."

Poker crouched next to Chase, between him and the two dead guards. He was just in front of the door, eyeing it much like Horus was. The words Chase spoke did indeed get through to him, but he remained looking upon the door when he replied. His eyes only ever left the door to roll in annoyance.
"If we had been caught anywhere we would have never seen Tritern again." Poker said, not unkindly, but matter-of-factly.
Poker drew his swords slowly, making the sound of the blades running along the sheaths as quiet as he possibly could. "I can take guards out in close combat." Poker said, finally glad to be able to do something instead of Chase. "And we have the element of surprise with us."
Poker guessed Chase had never been a stranger to using surprise to his advantage. It was the only way he could have survived through stealth operations.

Chase sidled out into the stairwell and pressed hiself against the opposite wall, looking up, then down, then up again. "If they had caught us elsewhere, we would have become a prisoner of war, and with a slight possiblity of being rescued by Geddo's fleet. Here, they will kill us on sight."
He indicated for Poker to take the lead, "There is only one door at the top. There will be two guards on either side of it, and another four in the room beyond. Thats if the general guard is there. There possibly might be more..."
He waited for Poker to lead, drawing his own curved blade and looking down to make sure no-one came up behind them...

Poker looked across at Chase. When the realisation that he was waiting for Poker to move forward, Poker grinned inwardly. It was just what he wanted in this mission. A chance to do something important.
Poker, still crouched, walked up to the door. He took a deep breath, Guards were not easy to kill. They never had been, and never would be. Especially guards of a ruler. These were the elite warriors of the Naval force. Hopefully they're fighting skills were worse than their naval skills.
Poker turned the door handle and opened it wide, standing behind it, out of the line of sight of any guards inside. Poker drew his second sword again, having had to sheath it to open the door, and waited for the guards to walk unknowingly out.

((ooc-I'm so terribly sorry. Why am I always last to be notified about this stuff? I kinda skipped out on some of the stuff you guys typed :3 sorry. Tell me if I post wrong or somethin))
The guard's heavy breathing rang in Nau'ren's ears. She whipped a hand back to silence them, she did not want to screw up as Lorian had with the news of two pirates not too long ago. Nau'ren was not going to make the mistake that she had made, and was prepared to take victory.
Nau'ren and about 6 other guards crept through the shadows her tower offered. ((you guys mean the Supreme Lady's Tower, right?)) Making her way around a corner, first placing her face around the bend, then the rest of her body following. Nau'ren came to an immediete stop as the sight of a dog drew her attnetion. It sat next to a rope. Guarding it? nau'ren thought, signalling for everyone else to stop. Nau'ren thought quickly, doing the first acted out the first idea that popped into her mind. She was not going to let a stupid dog interfere with their plans, if they had any, by letting out the slightest hint of a howl or bark. But when she reached to through something for it to chace, it's voice slipped swiftly though its teeth, wrapping through the air towards everyone's ears. The dog's quick howl was enough to give anything away.
Nau'ren shot her eyes up to the window where the rope disappeared into it's shadows. Nau'ren stumbled backwards, pushing everyone behind her back behind the corner. If anything, she wanted to make it look as if the dog set off a false alarm. Nau'ren was prepared to kill even a dog if it got in their way. But the thoughts of killing the defensless vanished as quickly as they aroused. She waited, hoping the dog wasn't appraocing them, for his paddding feet might not be audible over the loud, chirping crickets.
((...I hope I posted correctly xD))

ooc: Yeah, that’s fine. Just so you know you and your guards are in the room beyond us, and we’re hiding behind the door to the hallway… no-body knows *eery music* ;D
From where Chase was sitting he could see straight through the crack in the door towards where the Supreme… Lady!? and her guards were waiting. He turned quickly to Poker, whispering,”Five or so guards, no weapons drawn, and they’re all in a group. Surprise them and take them from behind. Don’t kill the Supreme… Lady.”
He frowned slightly but pushed the thought away as he continued on, ”Kick the door down on my mark.” He put a foot on the floor to push off from, ”Three… Two… One… Now!”
Chase burst through the door as it was knocked open and launched himself at the nearest guard, driving his sword through the man’s back who wasn’t looking at him. Turning on his heel he pulled his blade out and slashed across the neck of a second guard. Both of them fell to the ground before him, dying, and he only hoped Poker had made as good of an entrance as him…

[ooc: Hold a tick. . . Chase, Nau'ren isn't in that room. . . she's down god-moding my dog. xD Chase might need to modify that post. From what I can gather, Archer just barked at Nau'ren and her band of merry men.]

ooc: We had previously said that they were all in the room beyond us. I was just correcting her because she asked if she had posted correctly, which for most points and purposes… she has.
Can we continue this now, cause if we don’t hurry we’re never going to make it to the battle outside…

[ooc: Okay, Nau'ren. . . or Kristen, she is inside, if you don't mind my doing so, I'll identify where she is in this post. Don't worry about the last post.] Poker didn't know why he was surprised at the fact that it was a Supreme Lady. There had been a Pirate Queen not to long ago, but the Navy had never been under the power of a woman before. To his knowledge anyway. But there wasn't time to ponder the gender of the Supreme Lady. Chase was counting down, and Poker hurridly took a good position to leap into the room. Then the door had been burst down, and Poker had no choice but to leap into the room and attack the closest guard to him. Unfortunately, Chase had come in a moment earlier, and the Guard was already alert. They crossed blades, and pushed away from each other. He had to be quick, or other Naval Guards would join the fight, dooming Poker. Poker thrust forward, but it was deflected. He sideswiped, but the Guard parried him. Even when Poker used both his swords in a spinning combination, something which had almost become a signature move of his, the Guard managed to parry his blows away. Poker jumped backwards, creating distance between the two combatants, and threw his sword at the Guard. Unsurprisingly, that was deflected, but the second flying sword struck home. Poker stepped forward and extracted the now-red sword from the chest of the Guard, turning to face the Supreme Lady.
