"Sure Morwen," Alessio walked around to grab a key from the wall behind him. It was to a higher level room, but they were all the same, no matter which floor you were on.
"Its five gold pieces a night," He held out the key, waiting for the gold. "You should enjoy this place, and you'll get a good nights sleep, I can assure you..."

Morwen didn't have any pieces on her and reached inside her vest to grab another stolen item. Alessio probably new it was stolen but she tried her best to bring up a look that showed it was hers. She had a solid gold bar, a bit larger than one gold piece.
She smiled, trying to hide her proudness. "Keep the extra. I'll start with one night." She handed over the gold bar, hoping he would accept it. Relizing all her other values still lied freely across the counter, she set down the gold bar and shoved all her other items in her vest.

Alessio's eyes widened... instead of giving him five gold pieces, she'd given him a whole freakin bar, "With this Morwen... you can have it for a week," he eagerly dropped the keys into her hand and took a hold of the heavy bar. "I'll smelt it down into some coins and we'll see how much its really worth, and then you're welcome to stay however long it equates to..."

Morwen grinned again, "Okay."
Her eyes traveled as Alessio did. She wanted to make sure he didn't steal it, even though he wouldn't. But Morwen could never trust anyone, with her being a pirate and all. She gripped the keys in her hand and waited to see Alessio disappear.

Alessio wasn't about to leave the bar... this was where he was working, and there were a couple of guys asking for mugs of their favourite rum. Alessio had work to do.
"Enjoy your stay Miss Morwen," then he walked to the men beside her and started to make up some more drinks...

"Tell me when you've got that bar of gold weighed," She replied, standing up when she noticed he wasn't going to just leave the bar unattended. She slipped off the bar stool and glided over to the stairway. She turned to the window and saw the fading gold color of the sun and the dull pink that scetched the sky.
Morwen stepped up the dimly lit staircase. Walls enclosed the stairs, making everything in the foyer disappear from view. The torches flickered light down the wooden walls. She gripped the railing, her hand smoothly sliding across it.
She reached the top and relized she had forgotten to ask which room was her's. She gave a deep sigh and leaped down the steps, skipping a few every jump. She landed on the bottom floor with a thump and walked over to Alessio, "Ahem... Uh... Which room is mine?" She felt stupid to forget to ask.

Alessio turned back to Morwen, "Room seven... the number is engraved on the side of the key..."

Morwen flew her head back and started laughing. Now she felt even more stupid. "I knew that," she said through her sigh/laugh. She turned back up the steps and turned the corner, heading down a very silent hall. The only audible sound was the flickering of the flames that swayed over the torches.
She reached her beautifully designed door, shoving the Key into the lock. turning her wrist, the door clicked and she pushed the wood with the other hand. Eyes scanning the room that, to her, was luxury. Morwen quietly closed the door, not even bothering to lock it up again. She had forgotten there were guards searching for her because of her random act of weariness.
Flopping on the bed with outstretched arms, Morwen fell asleep. Her stunning blue eyes were no longer visible. Morwen's thin eyelashes touched the skin below her eyes.
Dreams were brought on from her deep sleep. None of them were seen clearly through her mind's eyes. She lied down, motionless. It was almost as if she had left this world and had entered her own. For once, she had forgotten about being a pirate and slept on as if she were on no one's side.
What resembled a smile, spread across her face, making her look at peace.

The night grew long as Alessio worked at the bar. Usually it started to empty at about midnight, and by a few hours the whole place was deserted. He knew he wouldn't get any more customers until the next afternoon. Nobody in the whole would drink in the morning... not even a pirate.
He locked up the doors after sending the waitresses and cooks off to their own homes, those who didn't live in the Inn already. He started to climb the stairs towards his floor, saying goodnight to the others as they left to go to their own rooms.
As he was walking past the flight of stairs near to Morwen's room, he could hear talking. At first he thought it was one of his cooks, but then he realised where it was coming from.
Alessio frowned and walked closer to the door. For the moment, the voices were disernable, but he intended to change that...

Morwen shivered in her soundless sleep. Her room's window was open and low whispers traveled up to her window. Her motionless sleep was disturbed as she flipped over on her bed. Her body slowly slid down the quilt that lay atop of the bed. Morwen rolled off the side and the sound of bones against wood sounded through out the room. Her eyes shot open. Anyone could have heard that and she hoped she hadn't woke anyone up.
Her hair was now messed up in its pony tail. She reached back to adjust it when oices were heard again. She slowly stood up, side stepping to the window. Her bosy was low to the ground, knees bent. She scrambled to the side of the wall and peeked out of the window. Sleep was crusted her eyes. She was still tired and it was hard for her to see who was below her. However, five figures could be made out in the darkness of the waning moon night.
Her eyes traveled up the bodies and found the outlinings of spears were gripped in their hands. She gasped, but somehow a smile was brought up. She stood there, hands placed flatly against the wall as she stared down. The Guards were talking right outsid of the door! Her eyes swayed back and forth as she thought of what to do. She quietly ran to the door, remembering it wasn't locked, groped for the knob.
The wooden door swung open to reveal Alessio. Morwen gasped as she was startled by the sudden company. Atleast she trained herself not to scream, but it was close to a soft yell.

Alessio looked at Morwen with surprise. She looked like she'd seen a ghost. Her eyes were wider than he had ever seen them. With a shock he realised that she was only half dressed, and Alessio remembered to avert his eyes. She would still have dignity left to maintain.
"Who was that you were talking to Morwen?" Alessio said, more or less talking to the wall beside him. "I heard voices... and they most certainly weren't your own..."

Morwen realized she was wearing only a long shirt and she quietly rushed to pull on her combat clothes. She pulled over her vest and pulled on her pants, slipping on her boots as well. She had nothing else with her other than her clothes, stolen items and weapons. She tucked her weapons away, trying to hide them so Alessio wouldn't become suspicious. But Morwen knew he would find out what was going on as she ran back to the door, hesitating.
Every part of her wanted to just rush past him, but he blocked the whole door-way. "I was talking to no one," she replied, slightly panting from her quick retreat. And this was true, she was talking to no one.
Her thoughts rushed through her mind. If she really was caught by the guards, she could be sentenced to jail or worse, death. Panic almost never found it's way to Morwen, but somehow this situation was different. "I'm... sorry I brought trouble... to you and your Inn, sir," she mumbled, staring at his feet. She wanted to hide all emotions that showed in her eyes by lowering them. The flames still flickered on the floors, making chills spread through her body. But she wasn't cold...
Morwen gave in, she needed to tell someone what had happened. Now was not the best time for a long story, so she shortened it, "Alessio, I am a Pirate. And so I search for items." Morwen had no idea how to word this, and the words came out like she couldn't speak proper English. Her words just skipped and went to the point, "I stole an item from the wealthy and five guards were sent to your door." She finished the sentence quickly. Morwen had no idea what else to say. She had just met Alessio and so she did not know, yet, how to talk to him.
Voices arose again. They were audible all the way through the hall that Alessio stood in. They spoke, "By the orders of the Supreme Lord of Diamond City, the Royal Guards are here to take Morwen who has been sentenced to life in jail. This punishment has taken place from her thievery. The valuable items of (random name) Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Jeaginn have been stolen earlier this day. Come peacefully or we will force down this door!" The Guards voice echoed around them.
The wind stirred and swirled around the room, dimming the lights momentarily. Morwen brought up her eyes to meet Alessio's. She didn't want to bring any of this to Alessio, but she didn't want to die of hunger or disease from the unsanitary cells of the Royal jails.

Alessio sighed and shook his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You've really gotten yourself into a pickle haven't you." he said still with his hand to his head.
"Stay here, stay silent. If they come up, I'll be damned if they're gonna find me hiding you up here. So if you hear a lot of people coming up the stairs, run..."
He backed out of the door and looked down at the stairwell. He breathed out again and walked down the stairs towards the hall on the bottom floor, he saw the guards. Five men in silver ordained armour, one holding a parchment in his hands and looking at him with unwavering eyes. The man was as large as Alessio, which was pretty damn large.
"Keep your voices down there. You'll wake up every damn person sleeping in here!" He walked up to the head guard.
"I have no care for your other patrons, only one pirate by the name of Morwen. She is here in your Inn, and you will hand her to us now. Or you will incarsirated Sir."
Alessio laughed heartily in his face, "A pirate? By the name of Morwen? I know every person who hires a room from me. And tonight I recieved no pirates. So I don't know where you got your information from, but it is false."
The head guard drew his longsword, which was mirrored by his followers. "We will search the premises ourselves, by warrant of the Supreme Lor of..."
"No you bloody hell will not!" Alessio boomed. "While you're in my Inn you are on Danartan grounds! Maybe you haven't noticed, but I am King! My orders here... are final!"
He didn't know how that would go down, but his sword was at his side if he needed it...
