Morwen gulped as she saw her eyes saw as far as they could go, watching Alessio turn to the starway. She felt really bad to bring this mess here. She never feels pity for the people around here.
She crept to the hall to hopefully catch parts of the converstaion. Words found there way up the stairs and to the hall, "Incarcerated... Morwen...Pirate... Search."
Morwen turned at the word search. She knew what they meant by that simple word, search. She squinted her eyes in the darkness that stood before her. She slowly stepped towards the window and peeked out again. She cursed silently when she saw the figures still standing outside. Small ledges, large enough for a toe to stand upon, peeped out of the outside walls. Plans ran through her mind, each one sounding more rediculous than the other.
Alessio was really sacrificing a lot for her. It didn't seem like much, imprisonment. However, the first step into the prison is the first step to death. Rats ate at the decaying corpses of the bodies and bones that were left behind. Disease was brought by these rats and being bitten could not be stopped when one falls asleep. No light finds its way to the cells and no light ever will, except for the torches that are gripped by the guards. The guards spat cruel words to anyone who sat on the opposite side of the bars. The smeel was horrible. The stench crept to everyone's nose, enough to cause a prisoner to puke.
Morwen wrinkled her nose at the thought of what the prison would smell like. She was glad no one was there to see her expression because it would start a laugh. But the word laugh didn't even enter her mind that night.
She stared down the window, waiting to see how Alessio would handle this...

The guards eyes flared with hate at Alessio's words, but he had been trained well, and knew what to say. "My apologies my liege," he said with a slight bow. "But I must insist that I search your premises for a wanted criminal and thief so that said criminal may be brought before the justice of the Diamond City."
It was a fine speech in the King's presence to be sure. He knew what searches usually entailed. No matter if they found what they wanted or not, they would turn every table over, smash every glass, break every floorboard and leave the place a mess. Now they would take more care that they had been put int their place.
Alessio sure hoped that Morwen had found a way out... for her sake.
"You may search the premises at your displeasure soldier," said Alessio. "But be warned. If I find anything broken or irrepairably misplaced, you will be paying for it."
The guard's eyes flared again, but he had gotten what he wanted, so he remained silent. "Of course your liege." He bowed his head and walked up the stairs to the rooms, his guards fanning out to search the Inn with 'care'. Their boots thudded heavily on the boards and echoed down the hallways for all to hear...

Morwen turned her head to face the doorway, door still swung open. Her face was half lit by the light of the moon, illuminating her skin. She side stepped again to the door and silently shut it. Careful to leave it unlocked, she rushed back to the window.
Morwen wanted, out of everything, to jump out of the window and lure the guards away. But she shook the stupid thoughts away and stepped out into the open window. Foot steps echoed outside the door but were too far away to be that close. She smiled to herself for Alessio's kindness. Luck really did come to her earlier this day, for this Inn was a great hide-out.
Her toe hooked onto the small ledge, gripping with the end of her boot. She wished Alessio luck and hoped she would run into him again some day. Fingers gripped tightly to the window sill, she scooted along the side of the Inn, back facing the bright moon.
Morwen finally reached the flat roof that stood over the porch, looking back briefly to see if there was any motion in any of the windows. All she saw were the people sleeping. I wish I could be sleeping right now. But she stopped with those thoughts as one of the windows she was passing had a guard's outline moving about inside. She cursed to herself and ducked below the window. It was obvious she could be hiding out on the roof. And it was impossible to close her window from the outside, giving away where she was. But she hoped they hadn't reached her room yet. After all, room seven was further down the hall than the rest.
Morwen crept to the edge of the roof and dropped down one of the pillars. She landed on the ground with a thud, sending vibrations up her legs. The cloudless sky enveloped the world that night, soundless, motionless.

Alessio leant of the wall of the stairway, overlooking the guard's search with a harsh eye. He wanted to make sure that they didn't break a single thing. Obviously, it was taking longer than the guards had hoped for, for they were becoming increasingly annoyed by anything, but by the end they had found nothing and the lead guard returned to Alessio, anooyed and tired.
He sighed and said, "She's not here."
"I know," said Alessio. "Well then gentlemen, I think that it is time for you to leave. I would offer you a drink, but I've been working all day and I really need to sleep."
The guard hesitated while the other guards joined them, "If I see anything of the likes of your pirate, I will let the Supreme lord know immediately..." Alessio reassured, lying through his teeth.
The guard nodded and ordered his men out of the Inn. Alessio closed the door after them and breather out heavily, vowing to never do that again. He walked up the stairs to see if Morwen was still somewhere in the Inn...

Morwen slipped into the shadows of the Inn and walked to the corner to take a peek at the front door. She rushed back into the darkness when the guards stepped outside. She heard them and Alessio speak. She sighed with relief that they didn't know she was there.
Morwen bent down to hide better, staring at the steps that winded their way down in front of the Inn. The guards walked down them and into the night, Morwen still satyed where she was for a while, making sure they weren't to come back. Morwen wasn't sure if she as welcomed back in the Inn now and she pondored. Ending up sliding her back down the wall in a sitting position, she stared out of the shadows and to the stars. They twinkled in the blackness, looking as if they moved back and forth. Her thought's carried on.
Now that she was wanted in this city, Morwen was not sure what to do. Should I leave back for the ship that is hidden and met the crew there? Should I stay here for the rest of the night? Or would it be wise to just wander away and hope to find another city...
Morwen's head was still raised to the stars. The light breeze passed her face. It felt as if smooth hands brushed her skin. She inhaled the night air, not knowing what to do...

Alessio has searched the place rather quickly. He knew all the good hiding places around here, and Morwen wasn't in any of them.
He sighed, it was probably best that she hadn't returned. Maybe he could return to some sort of normality. He yawned, realising how tired he was, and how much sleep he was missing.
He looked around, half-expecting the pirate to walk out of the shadows with a huge grin on her face and thanking him profusely, but she never did, so he walked up the stairs to his own room. When he was there he practically hit the bed asleep, it had been a trying day, for everyone he would have thought...

Morwen was still leaning agaionst the building, staring off into space. She convinced herself to venture on through the city, even though this was a great risk. She stood up, still hidden by the shadows of the Inn.
One step after another took her to the steps where she jumped over most of them, the cold night air rushing past her face. When she reached the bottom of the steps, something told her to turn right, heading towards a forest, growing healthily. She walked on through the night, breathing in the frsh air. She hummed to herself, enjoying her last moments by the Inn.
ooc- Morwen is now going to venture off in the city (Diamond City). I still don't know what i have planned for her, but who knows.
