Ice's eyes grew as he looked over at Alaria, standing directly beside him. He was so elated in that moment that he failed to realise that Kevin Sage, the Fallen Angel, had not returned with her. Ice looked at Alaria in disbelief, completely at a disregard to the world around him. The fire, the blood, the screams and the roars and the hiss of arrows. But then he saw what must have been the amethyst hidden beneath her clothes. He would have reached for it, taken it from her then, but instead he put one hand firmly at her back and pushed her back towards the White Warrior.
"Samara!" He called to his leopard. The Snow Leopard leapt off the naval soldier it had been ripping the neck from, and came to Ice's side, walking with him back to his ship.
It didn't take them long to reach the huge white ship, seated as it was right beside the naval one.
Ice ducked around away from the danger of arrows behind the helm and looked across at Alaria, his eyes hungry for the power she had captured for him. He could have grabbed her and hugged her then, so overwhelmed with joy was he, but he held himself back to see the amethyst. He held his hand out, reaching for his prize.
"Show it to me."

Alaria felt his hand on her back, pushing her to the ship. She ran back, him and Samara right beside her. As soon as her feet hit the ship, she could see him with his hands outstretched. He wanted the stone. Her hands slowly went to her chest armor. To get the stone that was wedged in there out, she had to remove the armor, which could be her death. The metal clasps of her armor clicked as she undid them and it fell to the ship's deck.
The stone fell into her hands, her own blood on it. A large bruise from that arrow that had struck her during her battle for the stone was large and purple. Where the stone had been placed, was a hole, bleeding. She had been struck in the chest many a times while trying to get back to Ice. Handing him the bloody stone, she turned away and bent to put her armor back on. Arrows whistled around them. One of them tore a clasp from her armor. Dropping it, she stood in front of her Lord.
Shakr'am sand to her, begging to be thrown out. It wanted the taste of blood. Her fingers gripped the disc and she threw it in the air. It has a mind of its own. It flew around them, cutting all arrows in half so to not let them reach the pair. Grinning, she turned to her High Lord.
It was my pleasure to bring you this Eternity Stone. I cant wait to see you harness its power to make the world better.

Ice looked at her, watched her with power hungry eyes as from her armour she withdrew the stone he had coverted so much. The pale blue around his pupils shone a deep midnight blue as the light of the amethyst reflected into them, changing the very colour of his iris. The stone was covered in her blood, Ice noticed, and he glanced up to see if she was alright, but she was throwing her diamond weapon, so he assumed the cut was not a life threatening one. He smiled at her after she spoke to him, before turning back to the amethyst within his hands.
The stone felt warm against his bare hand and for some reason it felt soft, welcoming, and it fit so well in his hands, like it had always meant to be there. He could feel the power of it within his head, pulsing through his veins, was it the stone had made his heart beat faster, or the mere excitement.
Samara was beside him, silent as ever, but her eyes had grown wide with Ice's, no longer in the state of being half-closed, as they normally were while she sat nearby him.
But. . . how did he use it?

((Does anyone other than me feel this battle would be easier to understand if it were in a movie? xD And I guess I missed a thread. Can someone fill me in on the stone thing?))
"Fire!" The words rang through out the ship, like an echo in the mountains, as others carried out her orders. Rocks were hurled into the atmosphere, forced to fall back by gravity. They sank into the decks of ships and aroused the resting ocean waters. Ships exploded everywhere with splinters hurling into all directions. It was hell on earth.
Wood broke out into a hail, pouring down upon the navy. Blood migled with the chips as they struck eyes and skin. Screams boiled up like a water heating up. The screeches were like steaming kettles, filling the air with horrific sounds. How could the simple human withsatnd such an event? They were just bones and flesh being spiked with emotions.
Nau'ren's voice cracked as rocks shattered into their enemies' ships. The clusters were enough to confuze anyone. Who the heck were all the other ships? Nau'ren herself wasn't sure who they were truly fighting. In this war, who were their enemies and who were their allies? None of it made sense. Or did it? Nau'ren just refused to understand it.
"Where the hell is Henry!?" Nau'ren screeched. She didn't lose her mind, it was just difficult to talk pleasently over a battle's noises. She seemed to be ignored. The soldiers all looked to be trained for battle, not dealing with emotions. They looked scared to answer her and a knot tangled inside Nau'ren's stomach. Were they scared of her? Was her authority enough to tie down a soldier's bravery and show their fear. Nau'ren stood, blinking. What has she become?
((oh and.. Nau'ren 'cussed' not me!!! *points at Nau'ren*))

Ice looked back down at the dark violet stone clutched within his hands as a naval stone crashed down into one of the white ships beside his. His mind seemed more open, more aware to the world around him. He could hear the individual screams as Ice Warriors and Fallen Angels were hurled into the world by the sinking boat. Some to climb aboard another ship and fight again this day, others to sink with water in their lungs to a wet grave, eternally forgotten so far from home, deep beneath the knowledge of men.
What do I do? Ice screamed in silence, the words ringing through his head as destruction reigned supreme around him. Wood splinters seems to crash about him in every direction. What do I do?
He could feel the power of the stone, it pulsed through his veins, but how could he harness it. Ice closed his eyes hard, screwing up his face as he forced all conscious thought down his arms to the stone he clutched so securely in his palms.
And he knew. His eyes flashed open, themselves a shade dark violet as he became aware of everything around them. He had it. He had the power of the stone. But the power failed him, and the higher awareness was lost.
No! He had to stay in complete focus, or everything he had worked for would be lost. He concentrated again, following the same steps as before, and felt his mind dance across his arms until it reached the weapon far stronger than steel or stone resting within his hands.
It took less time to harness the power again, and with his concentration bent upon the amethyst, Ice stood up. The splinters of wood could not touch him, arrows seemed to fall far wide from him.
Ice grinned as power surged through his veins. Armour fell off him, it was no longer needed. Samara roared in triumph. His white robes flew around him, as if caught in a manical wind though there was no more than the sea breeze about every other soldier. He lifted the stone above his head and it shone with a dark violet brilliance that danced on the weapons of the Ice Warriors and Fallen Angels, making them shine with their own violet light.
He finally had it.

Evading the colliding ships and flying arrows, Sage finally managed to reach the edge of the White Warrior. Using the crevasses cracks, and slits in the ship's siding, Sage climbed toward the deck.
He followed the radiant purple light and found Ice and Alaria. He wasn't sure where Cailen had gone, but he shrugged the thought off. His eyes stared up at the stone Ice held with in his fingers. The shimmering light danced in his eyes.
The Ice Warriors and the Angels now had the power to conquer Lilan. A devious grin spread across Sage’s face as the thought consumed his mind. He stood before Ice and waited for his orders.

Ice seemed to be having an internal struggle. His face was persed as was his lips. Finally the magic of the stone erupted through him, causing his eyes to have a violet glow. Her sword and Shakr'am glew their own violet light. The arrows and splinters of wood bounced away from Ice. Grinning, she turned to again wage in battle.
Arrow flew thowards her in a pack and stuck through her. Splinters of wood shattered by her as she fell, an arrow in her chest and arm. Landing hard on the deck, she scrieched in anger and pain. Wrenching them from her body, she stood back up. Her sword glowed furociously, and she went at the intruders upon the White Warrior. She saw Kevin and gave him a nod.
Alaria sliced through and armor and weapon. That stone was powerful, and she knew it. Laughing as she cut down anyone in her way, she was able to save one of her own kind: an Ice Warrior had been surrounded. Together the pair made their way back to Ice. Heaving, she sheathed her blade and instead took out a cloth. It was soaked from her swimming, but that was perfect. Patting the wounds with it, she cleaned them out and then looked to him.
Im in your service High Lord Ice.

Khalora saw Henry a second before the spear came rushing at his chest. But he found himself with his sword arm off to the wrong side, his broadsword embedded through a naval soldier where he had thrust it through steel, flesh and bone. It was a direct strike, his armour wouldn’t stop it… unless.
Alessio raised his shield and the spear thudded into it. The blade shattered into a milliin pieces and sliced open the shield so that a long gash was down its side and steel shards cut across Khalora’s face, the only part of flesh exposed. The shaft of the spear exploded into splinters from the impact and it knocked his shield arm, and the shield with it if it hadn’t been strapped to his forearm.
Khalora turned and brought the shield back up as he stumbled backwards, knocking Henry on the arms with enough force to jar them. He spun with his broadsword and tried to back his balance back into his foe, but nothing could have prepared him for what happened next.
A flaming boulder from the navy slammed into the deck right below Khalora, smashing straight through it, exploding splinters the size of a man’s arm everywhere, and gutted both the Southern Flame and the naval ship beside it port to starboard. Khalora stumbled on the broken wood, and fell to his knees as he was thrown off balance.
”Lieutenant!! Get the archers off the top deck!! We’re losing the bottom oars if…” The fire from the boulder caught on the pitch and tar in the hull of the Flame, and it carried almost five times more than any other ship in the Southern Fleet. By an incredibly unlucky turn of events, the exact same thing happened on the naval ship at the same instant. The pressure of the resulting explosion hammered across the water, and the Flame went up as it’s name described. The shock wave blasted for almost half a mile outwards as the Southern Flame and naval ship vapourised in the intense explosion, booming across the waters, sending ships tilting dangerously into the water and knocking men right off their decks.
A massive fireball the size of three of the largest battleships roared outwards and wood and bodies hissed through the air like shrapnel. Khalora was one of those pieces of shrapnel, and he was hurtling across the water, his vision gone. He heard nothing, saw nothing, but he felt himself crack onto a mast of a ship somewhere nearby and collapse to the deck. His basilisk breastplate shattered instead of his back, but he fell to an unknown deck, hearing, seeing and feeling a blur. All he could comprehend was… violet?

Geddo silently slit the throats of two unsupecting warriors and then pulled out his bow and sent a folly of arrows all over the ship. He had exasted over 50 arrows having sent more then three arrows per shot. He discarded his bow and pulled out his sword. he was ready to die. He wouldn't let others die for his mistake.
"ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME OUT!" HE yelled as he cut up two warriors who had charged at him. Anger dancing in his eyes. THe rage of death was ready, all who opposed him would die. He would fight with death until exhastion took his life. All on bored would parish, including himself, if nothing was done.

Cailen felt a sudden surge of power as she thrust foreward with her sword, and purple light began to seep into her vision. He swod began to glow violet, and the unlucky naval soldier in front of her felt the full brunt of her weapons newfound power. She pierced through his armour and all the way through his chest, the end of her blade piercing his back armour as well. Her eyes widened in surprise, and as realization hit her, a wide grin split across the face. Kevin and Allaria had found the stone.
She pulled her blade out of the man as her slumped to the floor. She ran back to the Ice Warriors ship, and she saw Ice, standing there, his white cape billowing in the wind. He looked truly magnificent, his very sould radiating the violet light. She ran to him, and saw Alaria and Sage next to Ice.
"Good work," She shouted, her voise reaching above the melee.
Now the Reign of Ice could begin, and Cailen's veines flowed with pride and anticipation.

Khalora was falling still, across the sky, rushing towards the water. The deep blue of the sky molded into the horizon, and there was nothing for as far as he could see. There was no way to distinguish where the sky ended and the sea started. No way to know when he would strike the surface. No way of knowing when he would die.
But, somewhere, so far off in the distance, on the blue background, shone a tinge of violet right on the edge of his mind. He could see it, hear it, taste it, and anything was better than this eternal plummeting, so he forced his eyes open a crack…
…the wood was blurred next to his face, and the sea spray was freezing on his cheek. His eyes were open by barely a fraction, but he could see… he was alive. Alessio’s mind was dazed, and had no grasp of the situation on hand. One moment he had been fighting the navy, and then, nothing but pain… and fire.
He tried to move, but all he managed was a shudder. He felt his body aching, and he thought he must have been broken by the explosion, but somehow, he didn’t think he was hurt as terribly as he should have been. Oh god! Khalora sobered up in an instant. I’m dead… He breathed in, and the air felt real and it burnt its way down his throat.
He flexed his fingers, and the wood felt real under his flesh, the water felt cool, the wind felt slight, and sun felt warm… he still felt real. With a struggle he tried to raise his head.
It took him more than a few minutes to manage to sit up, and as he sat there, his vision started to return to him. This is impossible, Alessio put a hand shakily on his back, and he felt that the entire back plate of the basilisk armour he had was pulverized, shattered into useless fragments. I should be dead.
He looked over at the Southern Flame, or what was left of it. Just a burning shell half under the tarnished water surface. Bakana, Alessio felt a tear creep its way from his slowly clearing eyes. My guards, my officers… Maccenna? Khalora breathed out and hung his head low. Dead….
He couldn’t contain it anymore. It was luck enough that he had landed on the deck of a ship, but it was more miraculous that he was even alive. This is impossible…
Alessio’s vision was now clouded by tears, not pain, but as he looked around, he knew where he was. He had been here before, or close enough anyway. The rear mast was splintered where he had hit, and the aft deck looked strangely deserted. The havoc of the battle had basically sheltered him from the nearby blue eyes. And the explosion would have been more enticing than a body.
He saw the white wood beneath his armoured boots, and with a sudden realization, he realized he had only just missed falling into the water. He realized how close he had been to falling and drowning. He realized, that he was four feet from the aft railing of the White Warrior…

Alaria turned when a huge explosion rocked the White Wing. She saw Khalora flying through the air, to land on a raft right next to their ship. Laughing, she raised her sword and looked to Ice for direction. He would be the deciding factor on whether or not she struck.
Shakr'am flew through the air and back into her hand. His diamonds were spattered red. Storing it back into her belt, she waited. Cailen was here and she was fighting. Samara was going crazy enthoused by Ice's new powers. Looking all around them, she knew that they had won. Now was time for the Reign of Ice.

Ice looked down at his troops, and Cailen's and his voice rang, rich and powerful through the world. The voice was his own, but it was morphed and amplified, no longer sounding like the voice of a human, but from another world. Powerful enough to quell the hearts of the bravest of warriors.
"The Reign of Ice," he said, looking down at his soldiers, gathering again to make one finally attack against the southern world. "Has come!" Ice's eyes crossed over Cailen and Alaria, and looked at them as he addressed the world around him. The temperature was dropping, the amethyst's power rising. "Fight now." He said. "Fight and kill, spare no quarters, give no mercy. Fight with the power of the north behind you. No power can stop us now!" Ice laughed, and he thrust the amethyst into the air. From it shot a long beam of midnight violet energy, hurling forward stronger than any cannon directly into a naval ship, exploding it upon impact. The sea was rocked by the strength of the blast, and it only made his troops seem all the stronger.
Then a voice caught Ice's attention, and he spun around to see the Pirate King running towards him, calling a duel, as it was. Fool. Ice thought, smiling darkly. Ice's voice grew again, and his demeanour became a wrath to look upon. His dark violet eyes grew only stronger and ever darker, and he seemed to be engulfed in shadow as the sun of the Southerners was covered by dark clouds.
"The Southerners and the Pirates have betrayed us." He called down to the forces below him. Ice chanced a slight glance towards the unconscious body of Khalora and his features read pure hatred. He turned again to the Pirate King, though he spoke to all around him.
"We had an agreement, let it me known here, that the Pirates and Southerners have taken aback their allegiance, they are traitors and backstabbers, and shall be ridiculled through history. Kill them. Kill them all." His voice was more commanding than summer thunder, and his tirade more furious than a cyclone.
He took a step towards the Pirate King, and now spoke only to him. "I have the Amethyst, Fool." He said, holding the Amethyst of Eternity, almost plastered to his hand so set in place was it, and his long scythe. Samara fell in step beside him, her fur bristling high, her teeth showing in a violet glow, along with her eyes. They were truly one being for the first time. "Nothing will ever stand in my way."

Geddo glared at the man with the stone. "All you have is a stone. The pirates never swore allegance to you. You broke the agreement when you decided to take power for yourself. That stone will be the death of us all. Including you." He said to the man. "Now, prepair to die." He said to him as he sent a folly of arrows at him. He was aiming for the stone. Though if the arrows did hit Ice or his tiger, he would know just how invicible he was.

The swim from the shore to the white boat was farther than Nina had calculated; but to her advantage, the battling of the ships had lessened. All the focus had come upon the White Warrior, and the glowing, purple amethyst.
Nina's arms and legs were aching when she finally reached the edge of the white ship. She hung on to the side for a moment, giving her strength a chance to catch back up with her. She took another breath and began to climb up the side. She reached the deck in time to hear the confrontation between the Pirate that Nina had met on the Isle and a Northerner who held Eternity.
That must be Ice... Nina figured in her mind. She had heard the stories of the Northerners -- the Angles and the Ice Warriors.
A chill crept up Nina's spine. Was it fear? Or was the weather just simply turning colder? Both, perhaps, but it didn't matter. Nina leapt over the railing and landed on rather unsteady feet. Southerners, Pirates, Angels, Ice Warriors all stood around the two Kings who would fight for power. It seemed no one took notice of the third King who had fallen just yards away from the central battle.
Nina found herself in the midst of Lilan's fate... and she was useless.
