Rhaxma smiled at him once again and looked off the land, her eyes grazing across the clouds. She touched her arm and remembered the scar that was on it. She gritted her teeth. "If that is a place where no one can return... I'll send a Southerner down there." She shook her head, as she tried not to get off topic. She couldn't help how much she disliked them. Maybe she would let go the fact that the South killed both of her parents, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it... As she was too young. "If everybody chased after everything that was mysterious, though... there would be nobody left walking. Everyone would be running." She looked at him. "But, in the end, all of those people would be happy they did it, no matter what the outcome, because it was worth finding out what was there..." She looked away. She wasn't sure what point she was trying to get out. She sighed and looked at Samara. "Would you bring Samara with you?"

"I wouldn't be able to make her stay if I tried." Ice shook the fur around Samara's ears and she closed her eyes contently. "No, Samara would follow me to the ends of the world and back. Such is her nature." Ice brought his hand up and Samara's eyes were open again, gazing around them. Ice laughed suddenly, thinking about the Southerner remark. "I'd rather not walk the other world with a Southerner."

Rhaxma looked at Samara and smiled at her, knowing just how loyal she was to Ice. She lightly touched Samara's head, wondering just how Samara would react. She looked at Ice and nodded her head. "She would make great company when you go downt here. Compared the Southerner that is." She thought for a moment. "But, to save you the grief, I could always kill the Southerner first... as long as you wouldn't mind a dead body down there."

Samara closed her eyes again as Rhaxma touched her head, making a content noise somewhere in her throat. Ice laughed. "You're a good kid. A Southerner dead is always good news." Ice rubbed his hands together. Sometimes he wished he had brought a pair of gloves.

Rhaxma scratched Samara's ear, knowing that she was all right with Rhaxma petting her, and looked at Ice. She laughed lightly but quickly caught herself and looked back at Samara only for a brief moment. She noticed Ice rubbing his hands together from the cold. She knew his hands would freeze, and now he was at risk from getting frostbite. She began to take off her own gloves. "Would you like to borrow mine for a bit? They may be a bit small, but..." She took them off and handed them towards Ice, wondering if he would take them or not. "You're hands might freeze, and you can't risk getting frostbite."

"No, you keep your gloves." Ice said stubbornly. "My hands will be fine." Ice wrapped his hands within the folds of his cloak, it helped, if but a little. "Well, Rhaxma, I could rest here for a long time, looking over the edge of the World. But I have duties to attend to and it is a long way back to my tower." He smiled faintly and offered his hand to Rhaxma. "Shall we be going?"

Rhaxma gave him a stubborn glance but agreed with his decision after some time and replaced her own gloves. She took a single glance at Samara before looking over the cliff one last time. She smiled and said, "I should be going back as well." She took his hand and stood herself off, brushing off the snow that had powdered itself on her robes. She pulled away from him and began to walk off, turning around to look at him, she then waited. She wasn't quite sure what she was going to do next, as she came to the Land of Never-Ending Winter with no real reason. She wasn't sure if she would return again anytime soon, knowing that if she looked over the cliff, or rather, what Ice called it, the Edge of the World, she would just remember that Ice would be going down there one day. She shook the thought out of her head, knowing that her and her people would not want another new leader. When Ice had caught up, she walked with him the rest of the way.

Ice walked beside Rhaxma, the snow was blowing around them rather gently and it made for a fairly nice site. Samara walked beside Ice, rather content and happy in the extreme cold. Her eyes were half shut, as they usually were when she was happy and she walked silently. Ice searched for something to say but instead simply found himself looking at Rhaxma without finding any words. So, in silence, Ice walked back to his city, listening to all the things he could have said that were now lost in time.
