Alessio turned and saw Kenric standing beside him, in a breif lapse of the battle. "The city is being overrun! We have to hold this hall, or we have lost this battle!"
He stabbed deep through a naval soldier and leapt up onto his corpse. "Southerners! Pirates! To the town hall! We must hold the city centre!" He yelled as loud as he could, hoping to god that it would reach someone new over the roar of the battle. But it was all he could do to hope. Heaps of soldiers around him heard, and they all ran at him.
Khalora stepped off of the dead man's body and hefted his sword and shield to his enemies, who outnumbered him to almost improbable odds. "We hold... or we die." And he met the men with ferocity to match only Poker's...

Chase was beside Poker, trying to keep up with his kill quota, but failing. But despite all of Poker's ferocity, and the meagre pirates who were defending the breach. Naval soldiers just kept flooding in. It was like an unstoppable flood of swords and spearheads.
Somewhere, distanly, he heard a man yelling something so far off in the distance. He caught only a few words, but the battle was so loud that he couldn't disern their meaning.
There was nothing left that they could do here. The pirates up on the wall might be able to hold a while longer, but those on the ground with Chase and Poker had to get out of there.
Chase killed one last naval soldier, before turning to the pirates, "Theres too many! Pull back deeper into the city! We'll take them at the next strongpoint! Pull back!" The pirate swordsmen started to weave their way out of the battle, and started a running battle back into the heart of the city.
Chase then turned to Poker, grasping him hard on the shoulder to get his attention, "We have to pull back Poker! We've done all we can! We'll wipe them out further in!"

Lorian was up on a balcony of the largest building she find in the part of the city that she now occupied. She could see most of the battle going on from here. A spyglass to her eye, and she could even make out the faces of the soldiers in the fight. The fear on the Southerners and Pirates faces was unmistakable, or so she thought.
"The King of the Southerners, and the Queen of the Pirates! Here! My god, this battle will be better for the navy than I ever could have imagined. We'll knock out the leadership of the only combined naval force that could ever oppose us at sea."
She put down the spyglass and looked at a map of Racana left on the table. "They're moving to the centre of the city to make their final stand. I want every last troop we have to push forward to that town hall. We'll bludger them into submission."
What of the pirate force behind the walls Ma'am?" Her commodore asked.
"I want every ship to fire one last bombardment on the town hall, and then send a battleship squadron to bombard the pirates in the forest. Destroy the remaining ships in dock that aren't already dead. And find where those damned trebuchets are and destory them! They're slowly picking off my fleet!"
She turned back to look at the battle. In truth, the navy still had well over half of its fleet out at the port. Even if these defenders did find a way to repel her soldiers, which she highly doubted, they still had the ships contend with. And as soon as those trebuchets were gone, there was nothing they could do about it...

Geddo saw that they had breached the wall. "PIrates! Put a wedge between the solders and city! Give them no courter!"Geddo said as he slashed at a few more solders. Then he saw Nau'ren. He charged at him and swiftly slasshed at him horizontally. Hopefully that would wound him badlly, and if it was a good enough wound, they could have two hostages after this battle, "As you stupid navy men say, we lost the battle buy you have not won the war." Geddo said with a gleam of hatred and malice in his eyes.

Morwen heard the call of the orders over screams. She still stood in the most populated area of the Fort and it was muffled. She cursed under her breath for not hearing them clearly. Morwen had no idea what the plans were, but by the looks of it, the pirates and southerners poured into the Main center of the Fort. The heart where this Fort started up.
She took a deep breath and guided many of the townspeople to the defended area. debre flew at her face like bees. It stung her eyes, tears appeared at the point of skin and eyeball. She brushed them away and ran on, through the swarm of people who were on the verge of death...

Kenric listened carefully to Alessio's orders. Wanting to make sure everyone heard them he cleared his throat and yelled out too as he swam through the mass of people. "Fall back the the Town Hall!" He yelled, breathing in deeply. It was difficult for him to yell after the wind had already been knocked out of him several times.
he bent down to dodge a careless attack and sliced at the attacker's stomach. Blood splashed to his face. He closed his mouth, but not quick enough. He turned to spit and a throbbing pain spread through his head. It was not a weapon that had hit above his ear, but someone's elbow.
Kenric's vision blurred up and he battled blindly...

On the way to the wall, Amory spotted a few familiar pirates, and the King of the Southern Army. She narrowed her eyes. The Pirates and Southerners were losing... they were dying. Amory wasn't about to let her guard down, now, though. She took a deep breath and looked up. Amory gritted her teeth, seeing the Navy slaughter through the Pirates with such ease. The source of the Navy was coming from the ships in the sea, which they were not destroying as quickly as they needed to. If she had her ship, she would be able to obliterate some of the ships in the ocean, but this was not the case. The city centre... She glanced over for only a moment before hearing faintly, 'To the town hall!' It was a familiar, male voice. Khalora. She ran to the hall without much more hesitation. "Defend this hall with your life..." She mumbled under her breath. She stopped a few feet away from the group and watched the hoard of Naval Soldiers coming on them. She narrowed her eyes and readied her sword. The only they could do is fight to the death, kill as many of these soldiers as possible.

Lorian stood gazing at the battlefield through her scope. She pulled it down and rested her arms, when suddenly a falcon spiralled out of the air and landed on one of the captains on the balcony. He looked at the message tied to its leg. "Its for you Ma'am" handing her the note.
The Admiral opened the parchment and read the lines scrawled on it. "Its a report from our rearguard sweeper."
The Navy men looked on with interest as she read the note. She hummed as she finished it. "It seems that we were not the only army to attack the Pirates today Commodore."
He turned to look at her, confused, "Excuse me Ma'am?"
"A white naval fleet is advancing on Teer as we speak. They suspect it to be from the North."
The Commodore looked around at the men, "So we leave them to attack the island Ma'am?"
Lorian laughed bitterly, "And leave the northern wrenches to steal our kills? Please... The Northern fleet is one of the weakest of all the army's around here. And ours is the strongest. The battle here is all but won. Once we're done here, we'll wipe them out, and then we will take Tritern."
The Commodore nodded, knowing the truth in her words, "As you command Admiral." He saluted and walked away down the stairs, to prepare for the next push of theirs into Pirate territory...

ooc: 'The Blades of the Ice Warriors' is only for Ice Warriors and Pirates. The Navy Fleet wouldn't reach the battle in time so they aren't included in that campaign...and the Ice Warrior fleet isn't that weak. It'd be a fair match for the Southerner fleet, but weaker than the full pirate and navy fleet.
Poker felt Chase's hand on his shoulder and heard his words.
Poker shook his head desperately after hearing Chase's command. We can't open the gates! We can't let them into the city! But he couldn't speak the words and it was too late. Some idiot had opened the gates to the city. Whatever hope the Pirates had had was lost now.
Poker's grip tightened on his cutlasses as he was forced to withdraw into the city. Poker rand beside Chase and Archer as they retreated like mice running from a cat.
Finally, the town hall came into view. Where Khalora was ordering both the Pirates and the Southerners. He seemed to be giving more orders than Amory. That only enraged Poker. It was his fault they were having this battle. He had attracted the Navy. And yet it was he taking it upon himself to order both armies. Poker gritted his teeth together as the Pirates and Southerners lined up for one last stand. Archer was barking madly, jumping on his hind legs, waiting to charge the incoming Naval Soldiers.

Lyneya was in the main throng of Pirates and Southerners beneath the shadow of what looked to be the town hall.
She had been standing beside the Pirate Queen a moment ago, but she had disappeared into the crowd of deperate warriors. Lyneya was alone in the midst of a crowd.
The dead were calling to her, reaching out to her, trying to grab a hold of her but Lyneya kept running away only to find more dead people. There was nowhere to go to escape the dead. Lyneya put her hands in front of her face and screamed a shrill, high, loud scream.

It was useless. No one seemed to care about a sixteen-year-old Pirate. She was angered by this and started yelling, but he words just drifted away above their heads as if nothing had been spoken at all. Morwen looked to the skies as if she had seen the words fly away. No words were seen, however, a huge rock was soaring through the air, hurtling towards them. Morwen's eyes widened, but there was no time to stand and stare.
Legs stumbled as everyone screamed to retreat. Morwen had never been in a situation like this before, but that thought had no time to enter her mind. Arms pushed her to move out of the way, not to save her, but themselves. Morwen was angered even more in the few seconds she had. Screams pierced her ears. Morwen smacked the people her were pushing her with a blow to their faces. Pain like that was better than death at this point. The blow seemed to have hit them, not only their outsides, but their thoughts. It pushed a few backwards, but not everyone.
The giant mass of what use to be a part of earth, rejoined itself again by smashing down. The boulder crushed those not able to move out of the way with incredible force. The impact was enough to rumble under Morwen's feet. The giant rock was buried in the earth.
Morwen handled the gore, but still grieved for those who had died. She was still pushed onward as if nothing had happened. Morwen's gaze was still set upon the boulder, blurring up as small tears formed in her eyes. She didn't want to be seen emotional and wiped them away.

Nau'ren stared into the pirate's eyes. She stood there as he attacked her. At the last moment, blades met in front of her face. The cling ringed in her ears, but she was use to it. "It seems to be anger that drives you," she said, speaking for the first time to any pirate in this battle. Her expression was serious. Her eyes went on unblinking. Henry was still in site, occasionally blocked by a body, but him and the two other pirates could still be seen.
The battle grounds seemed to be clearing up now. Most of the mass was now lying on the ground, traveling to the next life. Bodies littered the area as if they were the shells on the beach. The stench could make eye's water or a nose wrinkle, but Nau'ren kept her face dry and unwrinkled.

Alessio tripped up a soldier by slamming their knees out with his large sword. He turned and the sword whiplashed out into the face of a soldier. Not for the first time in this battle was he standing in a clearing of dead bodies. He took that moment to take in the situation.
The Pirates and Southerners had all formed a thick ring around the Town Hall. Some archers were lined up on the steps and on some window shelves, but not many. Some pirates ran in from the northern wall, none of whom he recognised. No... wait, he did recognise Poker with them, but that was it.
The navy was everywhere then, hordes and hordes just kept spilling at them from the sea, and a whole new batch was coming in from the north where the pirates were retreating from, several hundred soldiers on their heels.
As more soldiers approached him and he readied himself for the next layer of dead bodies, he was hit with the sudden and inescapable truth of the situation.
Racana... was lost.

Chase lead the pirates out into the clearing of the Town Hall, it was absolute mayhem there. Bodies from both sides were piling up, and the Southerners and Pirates were ever so forcefully being thrust back towards the West. Unless the navy ran out of soldiers real fast, they'd have to retreat to survive.
Chase whirled around in front of Poker and shot a bolt through a navy man's eye about to stab him in the back. The Pirate wasn't even looking around, he was just staring at something or someone. "Poker! Stop daydreaming and keep your eyes open! You just about lost your neck!"
Horus then whirled out of the sky again and hovered beside him. He drew his longsword and, seeing Amory, ran over to her to help defend her, Horus steadily in front of him. He was of the Royal Guard after all...

Poker was staring at someone. A woman, obviously not a pirate or a Southerner or from the Navy. She was screaming.
Chase's words awoke Poker and he ran with him to the Queen. Poker looked around to see the woman in the white dress again but she was nowhere to be seen. Poker still had both cutlasses out, but his grip on them was becoming less tight. The war lust in him was receding after seeing that woman for some reason and the hard truth of the situation was grabbing him. Racana was lost, and there was only one person to blame.
Enraged beyond extremity, Poker craned his neck desperately to find the man responsible for this. Poker didn't know what he would have done if he had spotted him. Luckily, Khalora for once wasn't making a big scene of himself. Poker resigned from his search and continued gazing ahead. Awaiting the Naval Charge.
