[Nau'ren]

Nau'ren had a cheesy smile on her face. She was so excited to have her own office. I actually made it! She screamed in her mind. She loved bragging and would take out her excitedness on any guard or soldier that walked by her opened door. She didn't have very much narcissism, but showed it every once in a while.

A very short man walked past her office, carrying a spear. Nau'ren wanted to come off as a very good leader and kindly shouted at him. "Sir! Come here one moment, please." She smiled welcomly at his confuzed face. "What orders are you following? I would like to know how everything is coming along." She fwlt special being the one asking the question instead of answering them. The man seemed nervous to be talking to her. No, he seemed jumpy. "Uh-uh. M-M'lady. I just needed to g-go to the bathroom." He was doing a funny little dance now. Nau'ren held in a laugh and waved her hand. "Yes, please go then. I won't keep you." Red blauches appeared across her cheeks. (like this -----> XD) She felt stupid now. She grumbled to him to make up after the awkward silence as he bowed and left the room,"It tis nature's flow, anyways."

She laughed at herself as he left her office. Her mouth wide open as she doubled over, unable to breath. After her evanescent laughter, she straightened up and looked down at the map that lay open before her. Sketches of coasts and forts were drawn all over the map. The ardent captain studied what she lived for. The land of the Navy and the land that would soon be theres as well. She smiled, concentrated on every line that meandered down the parchment.

Fleet Admiral Lorian walked tensely into Nau'ren's office, the office which had once been Welloway's office. She glanced briefly at the tapestries on the walls. They had all changed, and there were placed they was just blank wall. The office looked eerily bare now, and she hated it.

"Y... Mi'lady," She forced out curtiously yet coldly. She had disagreed with Nau'ren becoming the new Supreme Lady after Welloway's death at every step of the way. She felt that it was supposed to be her position, not Nau'rens. She could have made a much better ruler, and she had no faith or respect for this... Nau'ren.

"You... summoned, me?" She said it flatly. Although she disliked the woman behind the desk, she had a duty to uphold, and she held that above her petty hatred...

[Nau'ren]

Nau'ren glanced up from her desk, the map still sprwled across the wood. Hands still upon the parchment, Nau'ren spoke, "Ah, yes, Admiral Lorian. You stand here in my office today for a decision I have concluded." Nau'ren surprised herself at the words she had chose and continued without letting Lorian ask what it was. "I see it in your eyes that you, for whatever reason, have come to dislike me. Is it power that brought you to my office? Yes. I understand that you have the desire to control, lead and serve. I know you will be a great Royal Guard and that's why I asked you to come. Will you accept this oppurtinity? There are plenty of soldiers out there who would gladly take this position. But I have chosen to ask you." She tried to keep the pressure away from the question and smiled. But a smile would probably make deciding worse. To keep the room from falling into silence, Nau'ren shifted her foot position, sscraping her boots against the boards.

Lorian had to stop her eyes glazing over in anger. She had always been the Royal Guard of the Lilan Navy. Why did she think she could re-offer it to her, it had always been Lorian's...

"Of course, I would be honoured to accept the position I have held so faithfully for so long," the acid from her voice was well-masked.

She breathed in and averted her eyes to one of the few tapestries on the wall, "Is there anything else you required of me... ma'am?"

[Nau'ren]

(ooc- I never knew she already was!? lol, Oh well)

Nau'ren shook her head, "There is nothing else I could ask of you at the moment." She lifted her hand, almost about to flick towards the door as if Lorian were a fly, but Nau'ren was trying her best not to come of like that. She straightened up, awaiting a salute or any sign of respect. Nau'ren would be sure to signal back.

Lorian twitched a little at the mouth but nodded to her new Supreme Lord, "Then what are my orders... ma'am? I assume you have devised our next move for battle. After taking over both Racana and Arna, I think we have demonstrated our power. It was only by luck and coincidence that they managed to take those forts back off us. The royal fleet has been re-commissioned and repaired. I am ready for war..."

[Henry]

A knock came from the door, Henry sighed, he had an idea about a battle plan and he had gathered information, not even five minutes ago a navy officer had informed him of the southerner's king being near the pirate fort, he was honored to bring the knew navy commander this news, this would be their only chance in years to attack the southerners with full force, if they could take out the southerner's capital city, they would greatly weaken the southerner's and the pirates, it would also drop the enemies moral.

[Nau'ren]

Nau'ren began to answer the questioning of her plans. A knock at her door interuptered her first two words of "I bel" ((xD)). "If you would exscuse me for a moment," she said, walking around her desk to the door. She pulled the handle and saw Henry. She has met Henry bfore and has bumped into him various of times. The first time was in the most recent battle. She smiled and motioned to come in. "We were just about to discuss our future plans.."

[Henry]

Henry bowed to her. "Yes, um, a navy boat patroling the waters has just informed me that the southerner' king's ship has docked an hour ago in the pirates main fort, I dont know how they know this, but this means that if we where to strick a southerner fort, they would be unguided and would be easy to take ma'am. Sorry if I was interupting something because I know I always am, but an officer told me to get this information to you as soon as possible." He said bowing again, he hoped this information was good news. He didn't see the admiral and now royal guard.

Lorian turned to the naval soldier. "Do you seriously believe that just because their King is gone that their cities will be completely defenceless?! The armies of our enemies do not follow their rulers around like dogs! There are accomplished men everywhere in the Southern ranks, just like there are in ours. I would be surely dissappointed if this fort would fall just because myself or the lady were not here!"

She turned back to Nau'ren. "If you attack the southern cities now, their pride will flare and you'll have their full force on us in a month. It is just a recipe for disaster!"

She breather in again, remembering her place, "However, my lady, if that is the course of action that you decide is best for the navy, I will gladly oblige." Every word was sarcasm, and they both knew it...

[Henry]

Henry took a step back, shocked and sad. "D-dont blame the messenger, blame the informer." He said with a stutter. He was not expecting the admrial to snap at him. Part of it was his idea, but "Though some of it was my idea, you didn't have to snap at me, you could have just said 'no' politly!" He said trying to at least get this women to show some respect to people.

[Nau'ren]

Nau'ren shook her head. "Enough! We aren't children playing in the fields with sticks. I believe we need more time to recover before showing ourselves out there again. I'm sure they have many plans to lure us in. And I'm sure they are probably talking about how to strike next just as we are." Nau'ren turned to Henry. "Thanks for the message. Would you leave Lorian and I alone to talk over this. Im sure you will hear what will become of our decision once we have thought it through." She smiled, hoping he would understand.

The Admiral was already wound tight by the fact that she hadn't recieved the promotion to Supreme Lady, and Henry wasn't helping. Although he had done nothing wrong, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. And Lorian had to take her anger out on someone.

"You will learn your place soldier!" Lorian spat at Henry. "I outrank by everything here, you will never approach me or backchat. Now get out before I have you shot!"
