Well, this will be my second and final character... just so that i can have some freedom of rping...
Name: Johnathan Chase Valtorez
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Pirate, although he has been known to be a rogue, if the pay is right, he will kill a pirate if need be, although if a war erupted, he fall under the pirate banner.
Weapons of Choice: An assortment of small knives, a long knife, and a custom built crossbow. It is very long and quite thin with the string under incredible tension before being fired. For that reason the string must be replaced after two or three shots. Because of the length and tension of the crossbow it can send a large and heavy bolt in a spinnng motion over distances previously unheard of in this day and age. Basically, if Chase is in range of a Ballista, it was in range more than 50 yards ago. The quiver is very long as well, and has a hood over the end to keep his rare bolts dry in the rain
Pet: Chase has a peregrin falcon named Horus that he caught when he was about 25. It is one of the fastest breeds of bird in Lilan, and has razor sharp claws and beak. In battle, Chase has taught Horus to go for an enemy's eyes, even if they're wearing a helmet, and she will willingly defend her master.
Inn: N/A
Ship: N/A
Wings: N/A
Appearance: Chase rarely shows his appearance to other people, most of the time he just wears a cloth over the bottom half of his face, which is quite bland with nothing overly noteworthy about it. His clothes were made only for one purpose, to camoflague him into the jungles and grasses of Teer. They are green and brown in places with tattered scraps of cloth to help him blend into his environment.
Personality: Chase's personality is as bland as his face. He feels very little emotion and shows very little in return. Also, he has very little emotional intelligence, and for that reason has very few friends. His entire life is based upon sealing assaination deals, and then taking them out from 300 yards. He kills, yet he feels nothing. However, he is quite calculating and has great survival instincts, and is cocky about his skills, he believes himself to be the greatest marksman in the world. He would have a hard time proving it...
Other: Chase is an expert marksman... the only thing he is good at. He has little skill with the sword, but he would never need it...
Role-Play Sample: I've already written a sample for Khalora, but I'll write one here, just cause I fell like it...
Chase looked down the shaft of the crossbow bolt. The column of soldiers almost 200 yards away was quite small in the distance, but he could still make them out.
Thirty gold pieces for this kill, he didn't know him, and he didn't care. All he was looking for was a red-plumed hat to show his target. You'd think it would be easier to see.
Soldier, no, soldier, no, soldier, no, soldier, n... There, a red glint... And there rode his target, in the middle of the patrol. He took careful aim, aim that his entire life had refined, and held his breath. One second... two, Thud! The bolt whistled off into the distance and tremendous speeds.
Chase only spent four more seconds on the ground, just to make sure he hit his target. Then he was up and gone... target dead, like every one before him...
A Storm is Coming...
Deceased: Jonathon Chase Valtorez was killed atop the Supreme Lady’s tower in the Lilan Naval Fort. After meeting the Supreme Lady his pirate companion Poker abandoned him and left him to fight against a full contingent of naval royal guardsmen. Despite being able to kill a few of them a wound some more, he was mortally wounded and cast himself out of a window where he fell into the ocean below.
