Once, the Samurai and Ninja had an alliance, a very stressed one, yes, but it was the most powerful in the land of Kamigawa. The Ninja awoke in an uproar, their leader had been killed! Naturally, they suspected the Samurai, and launched an attack. The Samurai were dumbfounded, they didn't know what was going on. They sent an ambasador to the Ninja, asking why they broke the alliance.
Samurai Abassador: Why have you attacked us? We have done nothing wrong!
Ninja Ambassador: Lies! Your kind murdered our leader! You will all pay for this! Now, leave before I strike you down here and now!
The Samurai Ambassador did as he was told. He went back to Zenbonzakura and found it in an uproar.
Samurai Ambassador: What has happened?
Samurai Vice-Leader: The leader has been murdered!
Ambassador: It was those Ninjas, I know it!
Vice-Leader: Mobilize the advanced force! This is war!
This is how it's been for 100 years, neither side winning, neither side losing. It is still unknown who actually killed the leaders.
