Everyone likes a good school trip, right? It's a chance to get out and goof off, all while letting your parents and teachers think you're out sharpening your education. It's this prospect that has students around the nation esctatic. The National Educational Olympics is taking place in Orlando, Florida, and the best of the best of each club and sport from top schools around the United States are going to be in attendance. These kids are in their prime, ranging from academically achieved Mathelites, to star varsity basketball players worthy of the NBA.
Okay, I know what you're saying. What do educational olympics have to do with a hotel? Well, in a sense... everything. Ten of the attending schools are booked to stay in the Rosen Centre Hotel. The entire hotel has been closed off to the public, and only the schools will be in attendance. Every floor will be designated to boys or girls only, and five chaperones are assigned to each floor. They've got their stuff together, right? Not so quick. There's one problem: the hotel is already being occupied. By vampires. Several vampire covens have taken over the hotel. And now that all of these mortals know they're there, there's no way they can let them go. There are two reasons for this:
That's the reason the vampires are here. There's a war waging between covens;;the good and the bad. Luckily, the students have stumbled upon the good. The others, the ones out there, they're all for manslaughter. They're villainous, blood-thirsty and merciless, and they want nothing more than to slaughter any mortal that crosses their path.
The point? Well, now all these kids have is time. The vampires won't let them leave, and who knows how long it will be before they do. The hotel is a fancy one, stock full of restaurants, an in hotel store, gym, and spa. Actually... some of the students; the one's who were fascinated by these mythical beings or don't have a family back home that they miss; they think they've got it made. Over time, relationships are being made, friendships found and broken. And how long til one of the vampires snap? I mean, they're stuck in confinement with several humans; there's bound to be some craving. And the students and teachers can't leave, unless, of course, they make friends with a vampire and are escorted by one. The hotel is their new home, their new world. All they can do now is wait it out.
Whether they were your former nightmare or fantasy, welcome to your new
