A fast, harsh breeze passed through, causing Rhaxma to quickly grab her robe and put it on, holding it against her tighter. She walked through the snowy lands, the place where it was winter all year long. She has only visited this place a couple of times, and each time, she had almost been caught in terrible snow storms, though she narrowly managed to escaped each. Her white, thick boots sunk into the soft snow as she continued to walk forward, unsure of where she was going, but having no specific aim to a location. She let out a long breath, a puff of smoke quickly leaving her mouth. She blinked only a few times before turning, feeling the her hair slowly turn icy.
She stopped walking for a brief moment, simply looking at her surroundings. Because she was taking a walk, and traveling, she had decided not to bring her mace with her, which was hopefully in her best interest. She turned away and continued on her way. Eventually, however, she reached a large tree. She stopped walking and stared at it, her eyes filled with admiration and wonder. The tree was huge, and its trunk was pure white, with very small ice crystals formed into some of the bark. The branches were crisp with a coat of ice around them and the leaves were frozen solid, giving off the little light the sun had to offer. She smiled to herself, sat down against the tree, and stared out into the world mindlessly.

"Welcome to the Edge of the World." Ice said, walking up to his Rhaxma. Here, let me show you something. Ice took Rhaxma's hand into his. He knew his hands were icy cold but he never wore gloves. Leaning on his sycthe as he walked, Ice walked north, it wasn't far from the tree, Ice knew. Finally, he reached where he wanted to be. Looking over the Edge of the World, Ice could not see any ground, the land simply ended and was replaced by clouds. It was like a cliff, but far bigger than any cliff in the Mountains of Frost, the largest mountains known to man.

Rhaxma looked up briefly to see her leader in front of her. She was surprised to see him here and wondered why he may have come. She didn't smile on the outside, but inside she was, as she followed him to their next destination. She looked at his hand and wondered how he could deal with the cold without any gloves. He would get frostbite... Rhaxma worried about him a bit too much sometimes. He stopped, which she wasn't expecting as she had become briefly distracted, and caused her to bump into him slightly. She looked at where they were and her eyes widened with interest. She had never seen this place before. "This place is... amazing." She looked over and gazed. "It's huge! I've never seen anything like it before..."

Ice hardly moved as Rhaxma bumped into him, but he did smile and almost laugh. She was easily distracted. Samara sat beside him as carelessly as if she was within his palace. Ice pointed to the clouds far below. "One day, I'm going to climb into the clouds. I will see what is below them and I will return after seeing the True End of the World." Ice smiled at the thought of it. He could almost begin climbing now. But he had a realm to govern. At least here, without the crown of ice upon his head, he could be free, at least for a time.
ooc: Who is that that you have for your picture of Rhaxma in your sig?

Rhaxma continued to look at the clouds below, in a trance from the mystery before her. She looked at Ice as he spoke, and sensed a small bit of excitement in his voice as he told of his dream for the future. She smiled weakly. She turned away and looked at the ground, small speckles of snow landing on her white boots. She looked at Samara and smiled once again. Samara was a beautiful leapord... She had become distracted when a thought hit her mind. She looked at Ice.
"Do you think you will return?" She didn't want to have doubt in her leader, but she didn't know what was hidden below. She looked at the clouds once again and wondered just how far it did go down... how cold it would be, how treacherous... would there be animals flying about? Maybe worse things... She shook her head. "No... that was a stupid question. Of course you would. I'm sorry." She bowed her head slightly.
ooc: It's Aly Michalka ^^

"You're alright," Ice said, still not taking his eyes off the world below. "I don't know if I would return." Ice knelt down to pat Samara and looked up at Rhaxma, the snow falling around her was framing her face. It was quite attractive. Ice continued. "But if you could see the end of the World, just once, even merely a glance, I would take it, even if that would mean a chance of death. I could be remembered as the first person to walk off the World. Maybe even the first person to survive the jump from this world to the next."

Rhaxma watched Ice, as she kept an emotionless expression upon her face. Listening to his words, she suddenly feared that day he would prepare himself for the fall. She looked over the cliff, and her stomach turned. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to not have images of him falling in her head. She looked at him once again. He could be remembered as so much more... Rhaxma wasn't quite sure why she was so worried suddenly... but, as a child, Ice had never teased Rhaxma for having different colored eyes then the rest. Maybe he hadn't talked to her at all, but he still never made fun of her... And then when her parents died, she had no one to lead her anymore. But, eventually, Ice became leader and was leading her... She's always felt comfortable around him, but now, she was scared. She would not, however, express that.
"I wonder what the next world would be... if you were to travel." She looked at him and Samara. She smiled weakly. "That is amazing, how you can say that, and not sound scared at all. Your perspective is, however, intriguing... It can make anybody think twice."

Ice had to smile. "The World below the clouds..." He said, wondering. If he didn't already have ties he could have begun the climb there and then. "It would have to be different from ours...a world of mysteries and fog. Of grey beasts stalking in the thick mist. I will bring back one of their hides, as proof of my travels."

Rhaxma couldn't help but smile at his response. She felt her legs grow colder and weaker the longer she stood up. She sat down on the ground and pulled her knees to her chest. She looked up at Ice once again. She grinned. "That's quite a world, then." She would have asked him to make a promise to bring back a hide, but she didn't. She looked back over. "I would imagine something magical, as well. A fantasy of what you want the world to be like." She shrugged her shoulders. "But everybody has different perspectives." She closed her eyes. "It does, though, make you want to see what's down there... I imagine it would take a long time, though."

"It might." Ice said, sitting next to her. Samara lay down beside them, looking at the clouds far below. "But as I said before...It would be worth it. Who knows what I might see there? That's the reason I'm going. The mystery and the journey into the unknown."
