"Ever since I defeated you in the tournament ring, we haven't been done yet." Chase retorted flatly. He wasn't afraid of the Ice ruler, even if he knew how to feel that emotion...
"Lets go Calypso, we've overstayed our welcome." Chase never took his eyes or his crossbow of of Samara. It was the only leverage he had at the moment. One of the Southerners crawled through the window to get Calypso, but the other never took his crossbow away from Ice... not until both of them had crawled back through the window.
While the Southerner kept his aim on Ice, Chase grabbed a box of supplies from the building next to them and dropped it in front of the window, it was terribly heavy, but it would hold Ice up for a while.
Chase turned around to look at Calypso. "My god! Your fingers look terrible!" Her fingers were all frosted and extremely pale, there was ice in her hair and hanging off of her nose. Even her eyes looked sunken in the coldness, which gave her usual attractive appearance a ghostly aura...

ooc: Considering how easy it was for you to put the supply box there I don't think it would beoverly hard to Ice to moved it. But I'm not going to reply right now...I think Calypso needs to catch up.

ooc: and Rhaxma as well... all I was going for there was that it would keep you occupied for a little while, long enough for us to leave the courtyard, so you can push it away when the other two get back anyway...

Rhaxma took one last deep breath before leaning forward, holding her shoulder which she refused to move. She saw Soyala pounce into the room, looking frightened and covered in snow and dirt. She saw Rhaxma and ran to her, rubbing her head against her leg. Rhaxma touched her head and wiped off the dirt and show that had plastered itself to her fur. Rhaxma was relieved that Soyala had managed to have gotten herself out of the ditch on her own, knowing very well that she would have struggled trying to reach down to pick up the small cub. Rhaxma stood up, her legs shaking slightly. She leaned against the wall and looked up. The boulders had startled Rhaxma, and her body was still shaking, though she was not in fear of it any more. Suddenly, she remembered that Ice was in the Cold Cells with the spy. Wouldn't the other spy have caught them by now? She made her way up to the Cold Cells, feeling the temperatures drop dramatically the farther up she went. The window was blocked. "Ice...?! Are you in there?" She called, but she wasn't sure if anybody would hear her. She pushed against the box of supplies with her back, but right then, she didn't have the strength to move it. Too many things were clouding her mind. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She had to stay calm.

"Chase, get me out of here. And thanks, I really love the new cold look. I will never understand northerners, I need a really hott fire, and to get back to the south." She snapped, immeidiantly sorry for it. It was just the fact that the cold made her antsy. "Let's just go." She muttered. She walked to the window, slid out backwards so that she sat on it. She threw one leg over, straddling the window sill. She flipped out then, feeling the ice air flying through the space between her limbs and torso. She aimed towards a tree, and cought onto a limb with both hands. She swung down, happy to have solid ground underneath her feet.

Chase stood next to Calypso scanning around him. The Southerners began to move towards the inner wall where they had scaled it earlier, crossbows still at the ready.
"Come on Calypso," Chase walked hurriedly beside her. They would be known to be here for sure by now, and they had to get out quick. The party arrived at the grapples and the soldiers immediately began to scale the walls, while others guarded their retreat. Chase grabbed a hold of his rope. "Calypso, do you think you still have the strength to pull yourself over the wall?"

"Would I have accepted this commission if I didn't assess the dangers?" She asked, grabbed a rope, and moved with the flexibility of a snake over the wall and onto the other side. She breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look up at the wall as she waited for everyone to get up and over, she would never leave anyone behind. And she was touched that Chase had honored the alliance and made sure she got out safely.

Chase sighed a little as Calypso leapt over the wall so nimbly. He grabbed the rope when it was thrown back over and started to climb over himself, although not as fluently or quickly.
He landed on the other side firmly, and turned to face the men. "The outer wall gentlemen. Just one more obstacle and we're out of here." The Southerners started to turn and move co-ordinatedly through the streets. Chase guarded their behind, but didn't go very far from Calypso. A couple of bolts hissed through the air and some Ice warriors dropped to the ground dead.
Its good to see our covering fire from the mountains is still working, Chase thought as he neared the outer wall...

She pulled out a few of her throwing blades and hurled them at the Ice Warriors that attempted to follow them, she was satisfied when three dropped to the ground, and kept going. She would never be first to leave, it was just not the way she did things, so she tried to stay in dead last all the time, and it was starting to get on her nerves the way Chase was garuding her, though she knew that because of the freezing temperatures and the ice room she'd been in, her reflexes were down a bit, and she did appreciate it, deep down, where she would never admit it to the world.

Chase and the party arrived at the outer wall, but there were quite a few Ice warriors around the area where their grapples still were, and and soon as they saw them, they started to open fire. "Return fire!" Chase yelled, diving behind a wall. "Find some cover!"
A couple of the Southerners fell, but the majority of them ducked under cover and started to fire back at the Ice warriors, most of whom were out of cover and started to drop fast.
Chase leant out of the wall and fired a bolt between the eyes of the most heavily embelished Ice warrior there, probably a sergeant or a lieutenant he thought as he reloaded his bow. An arrow richocheted off the wall just behind Chase's ear, and he turned to Calypso, "I told you that it would be an obstacle..."

"Mmmm." She muttered, yanked out a few more blades and hurled them. She would have preferred to fight with her sword, but she shouldn't really get close, they were escaping, not fighting at the moment. She would have plenty of time for fighting some other day...
((Should we wait for Ice to get on?))

"Guards!" Ice yelled out, calling all manner of Ice Warriors about him, left right and center. Samara ran ahead of him, far faster than he.
Ice, having gotten himself out of the cold cell, was now in hot pursuit of the escaping spies. They are in my territory. Ice thought desperately. There was no way they could escape from the city of the Ice Warriors now that every single person in the city was aware of their presence. The distraction of the avalanche had run its course and now people were just plain pissed off. That was why Ice had, not only guards, but civilians with any weapons they could muster around him.
Ice held his longbow in front of him and quickly found where the Spies were. For spies, they sure made it obvious where they were. Ice pulled back his string, aimed and shot. Like any decent archer, Ice didn't really bother as to whether it hit or not. The arrow was gone and that was that. He didn't have time to stand looking wondering whether he had killed someone. All archers knew that. Ice, having pulled back his longbow again, spotted the Southerner Spy. Ice smiled and fired.

::AS CALYPSO::
She saw the arrow and in an instant she wondered, if it would hit her and all would be for nought. Then the thought was shook from her mind as she decided, the only way she would die was if she didn't act. She jumped high, flipping, not away, but towards Ice. She yanked out her Katana and landed inches away from Samara. In one swift stroke she was on top of the cat and was pressing it down, the blade was on her neck, digging in for blood, waiting for the moment when she could slice off the head. "You let my men go, or you pet dies." She hissed at Ice. "And that includes Chase." She added, knowing the pest would look for anyway to take more prisoners. She wouldn't be taken again though, of that she was sure.

"I'm not holding any of your men captives." Ice said coldly. "You are killing my people and I am defending them. I'm not going to stand silent while you kill my people."

((Sorry))
"But you will sit quietly while we leave peaceably." She said, her usually happy and light eyes now cold and dark as she glared up at him. She refused to get up, but she did understand how he would feel in this position. Your people are attacked, and you defend them with your life.
