Calling all Pirates and Naval Officers. A Basilisk is on the loose on the Isle of Emeralds.
The basilisk is a huge cobra like snake that has fangs as big as a person. Beware, this is one creature that won't die very easily.
As it is, I'm not sure what the reward will be for this and I'm not sure when it will end (First Mini-Campaign).
Any suggestions, post them here.

If you have any questions about the origin of this beast, read the thread 'Working as one of them' in the emerald mines...
Also, if you intend to participate in trying to kill this thing, post somewhere here just to notify that you're throwing your sword in for the challenge, but make sure you're ready...

Chase will be there... he would want to get some revenge in for actually being there when the snake awoke... also, hes stubborn as all hell, and he can never lose...  Yeah... I was wondering how it was going to work... Maybe after a certain number of posts something can happen, like, the Moderators can deliberate on who actually gets the kill... And whats the reward for it? Posts? Money? Something a little more juicy to be used in rps? maybe a bit of everything mentioned above? *hopeful* |

Hmmm. It seems the winner will have to be pulled out of a hat. Seeing as the moderators are going to be involved.

Hmm... it'll good once we work out what extra to buy...
I reckon it should be done best out of three... first person to get their name pulled out three times in a row actually kills it. And maybe, if we want to go really in depth, every time someone's name gets pulled out, they're allowed to injure the snake minorly in some way...
That of course would mean that the names would get pulled out over a period of time...

Hm, I like that idea, of if the name is pulled, they get to hurt the snake. However, I think it would take a long time to have the same name pulled out three times in a row. O.o although, I'm not sure how else it would work... I think that'll be fine, so long as it takes a realistic amount of time.

Yeah...I won't tell you who kills for a long time I can't have every person pulled gets to injure it. The damn thing would be next to dead before anyone got their name out twice. o.O I will PM you eventually if you kill it or if you injure it (once again, luck of the draw for that).

Well then, depending upon how long it takes for a name to get pulled out three times, keep them in order, so that every second or third name gets to injure it... and you send out the PM's sequencially until you get to the killing blow... You of course would have to decide on how many times this thing could get hurt before it carks it...

It isn't in the Mines...We settled that when we ran away from it after it had gotten out of the mines so its still out there somewhere.
